My trust in Warhorse remains unfaltered. So far - they didn’t disappoint.

The game absolutely SCREAMS - Passion project - in almost every possible aspect.
It's difficult, unforgiving, extremely replayable (I failed two times to two different factors a few hours in and started new playthroughs immediately after)
I almost never buy Early Access games but I've followed this one for a few good years and I regret absolutely nothing.
Really looking forward to the future of this game - the significant number of sold copies are deserved.

Garbage

Good game, horrible attention to detail and historical accuracy if it comes to unit representation.
Game turned into an insane cashgrab with resale of retouched divisions from the previous game. In some cases, you're paying to see graphically inferiour units due to simplicity of the model porting.

If you expect a remaster of The Complete Saga, you'll be disappointed.
Otherwise, the game is really fun. Enjoyed the replayability of the TCS? Yeah, you better purchase this one already.
Episodes feel a tiny bit short in terms of the campaign length, but what comes in freeplay feels even better than that.

Is it worth it standalone? Kinda.
Is it worth it if you use it alongside other WW2 mods? Absolutely, yes.
With the promise of future updates adding more content, it is a good investment if you ask me.
Unfortunately, released a bit late in the Arma lifetime.

This game shouldn't even make it to Steam, only really played it to hit 2 hours mark in order to get one of the backgrounds from the Steam Points Shop.

While I review the game without recommendation, I have to admit that I've enjoyed playing it for a few times.
The sole reason why I don't recommend it is the exclusive playerbase and small amount of populated servers.
Most active servers are French or German language only.
It is an absolute pain in the arse to play this if you aren't looking to join a community.

I never really liked the Habsburgs anyways.
