If the developer had any idea how to balance a game this would be great. At higher difficulties are regularly thrown into situations that are logically unwinnable from turn 1. It's no longer about strategy but about trying countless times until you get insanely lucky. Additionally you're punished for playing drawn out games, which is outside of your control when trying to win with bad pieces, when the gold reward is already low to begin with.
