Even better than the original. I am sure this game can be beaten in way way less than the 23 hours I put in, but it is one of the few games that I have played recently that makes me want to write down notes in a notebook to try to piece together the story since there is a lot of callback between chapters. Or get up and do something while trying to think about the clues and leave the game running.

A real blast to play and I look forward to what's next.

Having now played GTA 4 in (mostly) 60 fps vs the horrible framerate and higher visual quality of the Playstation 3 version that I originally played at launch, I have come to a firm conclusion: Grand Theft Auto 4 is at the bottom of the "mainline" GTA games. The car handling in GTA 4 is horrible and the selection of cars in the base game is extremely uninspiring. The story mode goes on way too long and the combat controls feel like they never escaped the Playstation 2 era. Of course the music is on point along with their recreation of Liberty City.

Regardless of any complaint I can give about Grand Theft Auto 4, it is still better than any other open world city game that tried to clone it. But in my personal list of titles it is GTA 3, San Andreas, GTA 5, Vice City, and then GTA 4 in that order of greatness. The two DLC packs add a whole lot of improvements to the game though.

One of the few games I put this many hours into in this year of our lord, 2023. There are plenty of activities in Dave the Diver's game-play loop that keep you wanting to repeat it even after the main storyline is completed. Lots to collect, bosses to defeat, fish to farm, and sushi to make. Ran great on both Mac and PC for me and Steam Cloud syncing my saves made it easy to keep my game across both. Playable with keyboard and mouse, but personally I had more fun while using a controller.

Terrific detective game that brings me back to playing HyperCard point and click based games on an old early 90's Mac. All the chapters had a great progression of making me feel like a complete genius solving the first one to referencing pages of handwritten notes for the last one. I am looking forward to playing the DLC.

A short but enjoyable game and am impressive feat for the single developer who put it all together. The graphics, reflections, atmosphere are impressive, the sound fx and music fit and the transitions were smooth. The story starts off generic, but by the end it had my attention. My only real complaint is that sometimes the controls weren't there when I needed them for dodges, running, and attacking I switched from keyboard to 360 controller halfway through which helped a little. My reaction time could also be playing a part in that too...

Sure it may have taken me close to 35 hours over the course of a year, but I finally beat the single player story mode!

If you enjoyed Doom 2016 (I did) then there is a 666% (see what I did there) chance that you will enjoy Doom Eternal. I had a lot of fun, but a lot of the encounters on Hurt Me Plenty had me doing all types of keyboard gymnastics to reach all of the different secondary weapon options. It makes me wonder if I should have started with a controller instead of mouse and keyboard.

The game ran great on my older hardware with everything on very high at 2560x1080.

I haven't even thought about starting the two expansion packs yet. Maybe in 2023😂

It took me 17 minutes to figure out that not only am I supposed to, but also how to throw sandwiches. This experience allowed me to find out something new and unpleasant about myself. See what you find out about yourself during your playthrough (which will probably take a lot less time).

I have been chipping away at this game over the course of the year. I have finally finished after a few play sessions over the weekend and I can say that my official opinion is... impressed.

I took my time playing it because I get burnt out easy from puzzlers. Maybe it is my simple mind or the desire for more action. None of this is a slight against The Pedestrian though. Throughout the game, they add more elements to the original puzzle concept of linking and aligning different "rooms" that your character goes through to obtain a few different items necessary to unlock the next set of levels. Those items can include electrical wire, a key, a box, some weird spinning things, and more. The last 1/3rd of the game adds two more interesting elements to change up how you have been thinking to solve the puzzles.

I can't say I understand the ending, but I didn't really get the story as a whole. It wasn't needed though, I was in it for the puzzles and I left satisfied.

This one was a lot of fun. Played through the story with the mouse and keyboard controls (heavy on the mouse) and really couldn't see myself playing it with a controller. I will give it a try at some point, but I am fine with playing through the game once on and off over the course of 6.9 (nice) hours.

The whole concept of being the "bad guy" was great and I found myself using non traditional ways to clear the room whenever possible using the power-ups you get along the way (mind control was my personally favorite way to clear out enemies).

Tons of gore through great pixel style graphics and plenty of fun with tentacle physics too. I played through the game on my Mac (2018 mini, 10.15.7) and there were no problems or slowdowns at all and everything was fast to load.

Worms World Party for Sega Dreamcast is the pinnacle of Worms games.

Worms WMD is the best Worms game in modern years and in my opinion the first Worms game even on par with World Party. It's a great graphical refresh, plenty of single player content, tons of multiplayer options both local and online (even more with Steam Remote Play), and most importantly tons of weapons and even vehicles while still maintaining balance.

Runs great for me on both Mac and PC.
Mac OS: Despite Steam's warnings, Worms WMD works fine in macOS Catalina.
