It’s an extraction shooter that really brings nothing new to the table. The only thing this game truly has going for it are the interesting NPC AI and outstanding performance on PC. This game offers very little outside of the aforementioned features. It’s essentially Escape from Tarkov minus the cheaters. The game has a lot going for it in that regard. I can definitively say that if you enjoy Escape from Tarkov, you’ll likely enjoy your time here. However, if the gameplay of extraction shooters doesn’t appeal to you, you’ll probably end up feeling like I did: bored and tired of the high-stakes, single life gameplay loop. Otherwise, it’s just another extraction shooter that you paid for with monetization elements waiting to be fully implemented. There is currently a battle pass alike system implemented that is just waiting to be turned on for monetization. As well as a cosmetic shop in a paid for game. In my opinion, it should be free to play if those are implemented.

With all this being said, I can see that this will be a game that a lot of people would like. There is a lot to enjoy, as the game definitely has a lot of polish. The systems that are in place work well. The game is mostly bug free on launch.

My game demo save that I spent 5+ hours on will not transfer over. I have moved the files manually. I didn't have the luxury of creating a manual save that others seem to have said works. It seems auto saves that are at the end of the demo do not work currently. This is a massive blow to the eagerness and excitedness I had to get back into the game. I will be refunding this before I spend over 2 hours trying to troubleshoot the save file. If this is patched within the week I will consider repurchasing and revisiting this review. Until then no thank you, and thank you for wasting my time.

Data transfer from the demo to the full game is possible.
*Please note: AUTO save data cannot be transferred.

I only have auto save data files. My bad for assuming that any save file would have worked when the demo screen doesn't specifically say "Manual save files" It states save files. For this reason, and wording that implies that it CANNOT be transferred with no additional wording on a fix is incoming. I can't bring myself to regrind 5 hours as a working individual with real world responsibilities. 5 hours is simply time I can't forgive being wasted.

Game plays and feels like Jello. Doesn't feel responsive or snappy in user inputs and it feels like that is a choice by the developer. Not my cup of tea.

20$ universal skins have to be bought per character despite them "working on every character"

24ish bucks for a potato equivalent in Warframe. Minimal 12 hour grind to find the base blueprint to make one. Skip this game for your own sanity.

Game doesn't work unless you are playing solo, and that defeats the purpose of the game imo.

The game is having some growing pains as of right now. Give them time to iron out launch issues.

When the game is running, man is it something of wonder. It's everything you wanted out of a Pokemon game as a child. This game is a must grab!
