a complete improvement over the first, as great of a game that one already is. most quests feel dynamic and like the player has influence over the outcome. voiceover, animations, etc are all an improvement. if you liked the first you'll love the second, if you didn't enjoy the gameplay or storytelling of the first it may not be for you.

don't be conned into buying another ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ extraction shooter just because tarkov took your money, the game is permanently blurry no matter what antialiasing solution you pick (each of which will crash your game), the audio is balanced poorly, the ai are stupid, the gunplay is ass, the viewmodel and animations are atrocious, buy it when it doesn't suck ass
