Don't mind the limited playtime (as of writing this, I have only nearly 2 hours). This game is amazing, and would remain amazing for $40. But it's $20, or $14 during the winter sale.

Even if you don't like soccer (football), you'll probably still love this game. Buy it. Buy it NOW.

A couple months ago, I bought this for something like 18 cents (US).

I played maybe two games, and I was bored. I don't really miss those 18 cents, but this game would not likely be worth playing even if it was free.

Plain and simple, this is what I think most people expected of Civ: BE. It's a great standlaone, especially for $15. However, the cross-compatability sucks. You can make a "new game" in Starships out of the state of your current Civ: BE game, and get "rewards" in Starships for what you've done in Civ: BE. THAT'S IT.

Buy it if you thought Civ: BE was ruling the galaxy, not just an exoplanet.

Great game. It is accomidating to both beginners and veterans alike. Looking for hours, and hours, and MORE hours of replay value, this is a great option. And who doesn't love a good Sid Meier game?
