Everything can be a boat.

I always want a rewind button in turned based games and this one has it. Tactical Breach Wizards is turned based strategy without the stress of the genre. Characters are revived/healed between areas, game enables you to use your powers all the time and you'll always feel powerful.

If you are looking to sit back and enjoy a game this is a good choice. The gameplay isn't very challenging but the story, world, and characters make the game a fun ride.

The game that spawned a new genre.

Adding blinking as a control mechanism for a game had a much bigger impact that I would have imagined.

Yoku's Island Express combines two genre's that shouldn't work together (pinball and metroidvania) and creates an excellent game.

CrossCode is great.

CrossCode is a single player action game taking place in an simulated MMO world. You play as a spheromancer class the most noble class in CrossCode. The game features large puzzle dungeons that require you to test use your skills acquired for that dungeon and combing with skills acquired from past dungeons. As you explore the game you'll see "other players" wandering around the map exploring the game too.

The game features many puzzles inside and outside of the dungeons. If you like to explore, you will enjoy spending time running around the world trying to solve the platforming puzzles. These puzzles sometimes cross multiple areas and can be challenging to solve.

As you explore the world you'll team up with other NPCs you meet who will help you in battles and tell you more about the world of CrossCode as you explore. The characters of CrossCode are well written and likable. If you decide you want to go alone you can remove the NPCs from your party at any time.

One of the important features of the game is that no decision on your spec tree is permanent and you can undo the whole tree with some items that are fairly easy to come by. The game also features a "swap" mechanic where you can swap from one type of skill to another at any point for free. This comes in handy late game if you want to adjust your play style to be more offensive or defensive, or just want to change something for a difficult encounter.

Like any MMO this game features armor crafting, weapon crafting, and many quests. The armor/weapons won't change the appearance of your character but they will give you different buffs which will change how the combat feels to play.

As for replayability there is a New Game+ system allowing you to pick different perks for your next run. These perks are unlocked through points based on the accomplishments you completed in your previous playthrough.

Baba Is You appears to be a simple game but is deceptively difficult. The game starts you off easy with some simple puzzles but you'll find yourself having to manage multiple different rules to solve the puzzles. The game features alternate levels that will have take a level you just struggle to beat and add a slight difference completely changing the way you have to solve the puzzle.

If you like the gameplay from the first game you'll like this game. Overall pretty good with some painful platforming while dimension swapping puzzles.

Perfect combination of genres. The chocolate chip peanut butter cookie of video games.
