Surprisingly, a good entry point into the Fate/ series.

If you were expecting a Musou, this isn't it. There's elements of one, but this game is an ARPG. I do wish there were better defensive options other than perfect dodge, and more variety than just whaling on enemies, but this is a very competent game. Does get repetitive at times.

Best currently popular coop shooter. The game is well balanced and laughs at FOMO. Gunplay is very satisfying and there's a niche for everyone.

A nice take on visual novels with a fun game inside, if very long.

Gameplay's alright if highly inconsistent but the real killjoy here is the intentionally sabotaged cosmetics progression and matchmaking being hard to tune. XP gains are only tied to battlepass missions, and you have to unlock color palates for your armor. Armor pieces are highly limited in the free track and staple or old armors are premium.

TL;DR Heavily flawed yet addictive to play once you get going. I do not recommend the game based on it not receiving any substantial update for over half a year.

This game is not well polished at all. I'm not going to mince words.
You constantly fight the camera, and the gameplay is not as expected of what the visual novel portrays. Perfect Dodge/Parry, while significant mechanics, are not at all explained and highly inconsistent with the slight delay from button to actual firing the assault cannon/swinging the sword and small windows to do so. Hovering/flight feel unintuitive with no altitude control or ability to just shorthop, feel terrible with the camera, and are made worse when in a Gen 1 TSF with a low hover time. The lack of ability to do a lot of things when moving including charge skills and reload bring down the pace of combat. Guns feel like peashooters and take too damn long to regenerate new magazines on top of the need to stop to reload. Animation cancels, despite being a very big thing in universe, do not exist. There is no dual audio. Tutorial dialogues telling you the basics of weapons play too often with little relevance to equipped weaponry. The story, despite being themed around changing the path that our protagonist is on, shows very little deviation from the visual novel where relevant; characters that die in the visual novel, even when saved in best possible scenarios, are kind of just shuffled off stage immediately and may as well just have stayed dead. There is little reason to be attached to the new characters for this scenario especially when compared to the screen time they take.

Bad stuff out of the way, once you get the snowball rolling and unlock the nice and shiny parts, the gameplay loop feels very nice. The BETA can feel satisfying once you find out what maneuvers you can use to exploit their weaknesses, but still deadly if you let your guard down. Even if you don't get drops you need, as long as you've found a part in a rarity you want, you can craft it, which reduces what would be a big pain to grind. I do like the concept they try to play with in story mode, but again, do wish it were better implemented in the narrative and gameplay.

While the combat is a definite step down from the absolutely stellar Yakuza 0 (and Kiwami to an extent) it's not enough to stop me from seeing the game all the way through.

I really do miss all the fun Heat Actions from 0 and the Dragon of Dojima fighting style we spent all that time earning and refining though. Would recommend modding it in for fun, though it does mess with Extreme Heat mode.

A gritty shooter that stands a good middle ground in between arcadey/arena shooters and full milsim games with a decent learning curve.

Why don't I recommend it? The developers that originally made the game jumped ship and the owners of the IP have a completely different vision for what the game should be. Also the epic integration breaks the game as bad as the other bugs.

Definitely get if you're looking for some antics to decompress after Alternative and see the sending off of Takeru and the main cast.

I'm going to start off by saying I never owned Halo or an Xbox as a kid, and never extensively played it more than getting the controller a few times at friends' houses. That being said, I definitely see the appeal of these games. As a semi arena shooter, Halo is very well done and most of the gameplay holds up to today very well.

The guns and damage feedback are strong enough to not feel like peashooters, but in most cases not as strong as guns from other, grittier shooters like Insurgency or Red Orchestra. The real highlight, is that nearly every gun has a purpose and (with the exception of Halo 4), they are mostly distinct. Each game has its overpowered setup or gun, but that's part of the fun.
