Awesome! Love it :)

Used to love the game.
Played for years.
Every match now is filled with cheaters.
Getting tired of watching people "lock on" to other people through walls.

Do better valve!

Another note, I play using Ubuntu. I constantly have to set the game to windowed mode. Change the resolution to something smaller than my monitor. Then drag the game over to my main monitor. Then make it full screen again.

I've been very excited for this game. The graphics are great and the developer is awesome! I love the story and the music. This is a must buy!

This game like I said in my original review below, the game is great. Since it looks like the developer has solved the memory issue and reduded the overall memory consumtion, I have decided to change my review to a positive one!

First of all, I love this game. However the game has some serious memory leaks. Using 3 gigs of memory is not acceptable for a game less than 200mb download. The memory consumption is over 17 times the size of the game download.

Once again, great game. Very fun. Based on the features alone, I would highly reccommend the game. But based on the memory leak, which causes multiplayer to lagg for all parties I do not recommend it.

For now, if you don't care about the memory issue, then play and have fun. If your computer has less than 8gb of ram, you might want to hold off for now.

Once the memory issue is fixed, I will happily change my review :)

Love this game! Such a huge improvement over the original Hammerwatch game. Multiplayer is fantastic experience for me and my friends!

I have extensively played this game on my iPad for the last year or so. I bought the steam version to show my support to the author. I really enjoy the game and it is a challange. I think some of the UI could use a bit of a graphics upgrade, but other than that I love the game.

I would recommend this game to a friend!

EDIT: As promised I said I would change my review if the bug was fixed. It was and works better than ever on Linux Mint! Cheers!

I must say this is a fine little game. Everything looks nice, the mechanics are well done, and it is fun to play.

That being said I am running this game on Linux Mint and because the game is made with Java, it automatically works for Linux. Well.. it kind of works.

I am having a weird glitch/bug happen when I level up. During the game play, upon leveling, I am unable to use my mouse on the menu where you upgrade your players stats. Instead the mouse is invisible and the characters camera still moves. My most recent playthrough was great, until I level. I made it to cave 2 and when I leveled, I was unable to upgrade my stats and click done. Because of this, I had to quit the game.

I would be happy to change this review, when this bug is fixed. Honestly, I love the game, but this bug is very annoying.
