The world, the Talan, the culture, Cutter. It all works perfectly for me. Has since my friend and I discovered the game in a collection back in 2004. It's all so charming, and all these years later it still remains the same. The voxel look makes it stand out so much than other games back then. A really unique alien style that makes it all the more immersive.

I love the ability to go explore, meet Talan, come across stuff exploding, and before you know it you're on a quest! This really was a trailblazer wasn't it.

Also I don't think theres been one year since I discovered this game that I haven't listened to the soundtrack. Can't be beat. Amazing job!

Playing it last night I was struck at how much character the Talan have. Think having the expressionless faces that only have their mouth area move up and down really leaves enough for us to use our imagination in collaboration with the voice acting. Something most modern day open world games cant do without 1000's of hours of animating each face.

So if you want to be transported to a new world inside of a game that is OH so "turn of the millennia" I don't think I would recommend anything else. its so BLOOMING CHARMING!

I'll always love this game.
