Almost impossibly complicated writing and scenario failsafes means that even a zillion patches later you still encounter bizarre bugs but it's winning on gumption and it's easily as not-broken now as most AAA games are at launch so it's an easy recommendation if you don't hate dungeons and dragons on principle.
