This game allowed me to play Gloomhaven with my friends without actually meeting up with them. Me and my group of friends have different days off so it is really hard for us to be able to form a get together. Also, if you are the type that like to play Gloomhaven according to the way it was meant to play, this game is a good way to learn the rule of the game. I remember when we first started playing the actual boardgame we would constantly argue about the rules of the combat and stuff. With this game a lot of the rules we are unsure of is answered. So overall I would highly recommended this game. ^^
