I played the beta; they did *not* slow the movement speed down (the publishers have also confirmed this). The down voters are just plain wrong. The FOV got reset to 70 after the beta, which is really low and is what makes the movement feel slow. Just up it to what you feel comfortable with and movement is just fine.
