Probably the most fun programming trainer/game I've found, and I've spent quite a lot of time doing things like the Advent of Code or Project Rosalind/Euler etc.

Please, please, please, please, please make this available for MacOS - I'd love to be able to play this on the move on my Macbook (where I prefer to code generally anyway).

Early Access Review
Held off from buying this for a long time until it dropped in a recent sale, despite the hype looking really good.

Generally, the game lives up to this hype and is definitely one of the more atmospheric and replayable games out there. I'm a sucker for some mindless PvE (haven't tried coop, probably won't).

However, I leave this review in the hopes the devs see and act on the feedback.

The good:
- Very atmospheric, and the procedural missions/weather conditions etc add a really nice touch.
- Dark rooms are dark. Dust is a legitimate issue.
- Graphics are decent (though I might have expected a bit more from a UE5 game on a very small mapbox). Things tend to get a bit blurry and almost aliased-looking at distance.
- Nice story telling, and I look forward to more of the story missions being built out.

The 'bad':
- Hopefully their release schedule holds, but as others point out, there isn't much here for a game that's been out in early access for 2 years.
- Some of the game handling feels 'woolly' as if there's bad netcode. Interactions and particularly NPC movements just don't feel as crisp as I think they shoot for a tactical shooter.
- The AI. Mt second biggest gripe. The enemies don't really feel so much like they're "flanking you" so much as they are just spawning randomly around you. They (and your teammates) will often just stand around in the open. Your teammates are next to useless in a CQB firefight and friendly casualties feel mostly like a game of chance than meaningfully linked to your tactics. Sometimes they're superheroes and will empty a house without you paying attention, other times they stand at the door while a PKM turns them in to swiss cheese.
- Damage model - my BIGGEST gripe. Enemies regularly take half a dozen bullets to drop (MGs seemingly take even more sometimes). For a tactical shooter where precision and care are the whole aesthetic, this is TOTALLY immersion breaking for me. You also seem to take damage far more readily than the enemies do, but thats less of a concern.

Overall I'm enjoying it, and would encourage people to play it. High hopes for what they do with it upon proper release.

Early Access Review
This game is so much more broken than a game that's been in early access this long should be. It might be tolerable for <£5 but at £15, it's presently an absolute rip off.
