Stringify mechanic is neat.
Waifus and Husbando ratio is decent.
Skins and the monetization is not that great but it's still playable if you just think about core gameplay.
Ranking up or leveling is a bit grindy.
Gacha part of the game is a bit too much for a shooter game.
Game modes are fine.
Some UI issues when you can't access certian menu due to queuing/matchmaking.

Kickstarter this game, Haven't had the time to play much but I don't regret it as it has stunning visuals and music.
I've played The messenger prior to this game which is a different genre but I do love me some RPG!

Renewing my review of the game and I wouldn't recommend the game due to the lack of players and bugs after the bad experience from Closed beta and even on Launch.

Early Access Review
For an Early Access game, this is a fun game to relax and enjoy the world while taming some Temtems.

Never played the first game but I enjoyed this game with the co-op feature as it allowed my friend to give me some backstory of scenarios from the first game and hearing his excitement of references and puns throughout the game.

Definitely one of the fur-niest games I've played in 2019.

Early Access Review
Not entirely sure if it's the remake of Fantasy Online but I'm liking this version. Slow paced but also a tad bit grindy which I don't mind. The tutorial is short and you could get lost very quickly. It took some time untill I started to get a hang out of the game and realizing later on that there's limited stats points to spend on Gathering Profession, and Crafting Profession including your combat stats.

The game itself resolves around heavily on the gathering/crafting system as I haven't really explored fully for new vendors. That's also one of the main way of making an income by selling resources to players or directly to the NPC.

The rough early levels is always tedious untill you manage yourself to around level 10 which you could equip the heavy armor at the blacksmith store which makes it easier for melee players rather than having a Magician that would rather prefer wearing robes but can't access a shop for it but crafting it with Alchemy instead.

It's a slow game, yet it's fun to explore and learning all about the game as you progress. I'd recommend this game for those who has the patience and not being spoonfed by others and how easy everything that they would want it to be unless the devs decides to make it easier for new players to get into the game which is something that it lacks a bit right now. Don't get intimidated at start and take it slowly. You'll be stuck at the first town for a while as it is the main hub for your daily Guild missions and accessing stores and quests.

Don't forget to explore, go outside of your comfort zone!

- The music is just amazing.
- The gameplay went from megaman to metroidvania which made the game even more fun.
- Has Speedrun potential.
- 8-bit and 16-bit with a smooth transition.
- Has new game+ added in recent patch
- Nostalgia to the good old difficulty and games you played from your childhood.
- Has hillarious dialogues with the NPC

Early Access Review
Reviewing the game after a few hours into the game and experienced majority of the content that it has to offer before hitting a wall to wait for players to catch up aswell as being bothered with the new system. (Reference: http://steamproxy.com/app/718790/discussions/0/1698294337789310034/)

Hello, I'm Kawe, an old player from Crush online and I'm back reviewing the game Warmonger which is suppose to be the revamped version of Crush.

Oh boy there's a lot of changes but there's also a lot of things I dislike which is of course my own opinion of the game, so without further of due here's my Pro / Con list before I go more detailed into the small things that made me quit the game again.

Pro:
- The new conquering system gives you a more teamwork based feeling when you conquer lands together
- The rune system is pretty good for some extra customization
- The quests are now always there available for you in comparisson to old one when you ran out of it.
- Dungeon is now available to solo but also available at nexus/fortress if you lack of lands to enter certain tier.
- Dungeon drops feels more rewarding.
- A.I Bots are now always available and spawning to help you push for the objectives
- Every player is rewarded with gold from the nation which only worked with Legion before.
- The devs has a discord channel and are active

Con:
- It lost it's "moba" feeling when the amount of artifacts and the battle system changed (more rant later)
- The old TP system was more strategic in comparisson to the new one (more rant later)
- Cash shop is very vague with information (more rant later)
- It feels one sided nation once you have the zerg
- More grindy than usual due to new equipment upgrade system (more rant later)
- Tutorial (including the learning quest at late level) is a bit hard to understand and could be trick you (more rant later)
- Dimension portals is very limited, players will have to wait for others to finish the dungeon run. (more rant later)
- Auto pathing is the same as the old one from Crush Online, Running into lava and killing yourself 10/10
- I can foresee the afk/bot in the abyss once people need more materials to upgrade (more rant later)

Right, let's start with the wall of text with all those cons that I tagged.
What made Crush online so unique was it's battle when you started from 0 and build yourself up with your artifacts. Having a limit of your gear that you upgrade throughout the battle made it more fun to engage enemies depending on the amount of x class being used. Due to removal/changes it's all about who has the highest equipment upgraded which makes it a bit less exciting and more "grindy" to "Crush" the enemy nation.

TP skills back then felt rewarding for those who contributed a lot for their nation and it made some stratigical actions in the war. Now when everyone can interact their nexus it feels a bit less strategical but also opens up for a coordinated group to pull off moves. Might be a con/pro here but this might cause more trolls or bad usage from new players who are curious and just interacting with the nexus at start.

Cash shop is what supports the devs and the game to keep it alive, however the gacha is immediately something that shows off "P2W" for majority of the people who don't really understand how it works in this game. Everything is obtainable but with your credit card, you can obtain these faster but there's a trick to it, it's in a gatcha system and all RNG. Even though if you do get these items you'll have to upgrade them and that's where it doesn't become p2w unless you believe in your credit card for that RNG. Because you'll need multiple of the same item at max level to get to tier 2 of the weapon. This feels like it's tempting but everyone has different opinion when it comes to cash shop. The only downside for me with it is the lack of information and sneaky descriptions.

Costumes have durability but there's no information about how to repair or recover those durability. Ending up with a costume that is only for fashion, but these costume have permanent stats which is something that grants more advantage than the other if you are aiming for min-max. Even the costume lady has an option that doesn't explain what it does.

The grind has been explained a bit among the wall of text from above but it's the same grind even though it was mentioned that they changed the upgrading part. Back then it was to 30 + rank up, right now it's 15 + a duplicate of your weapon to get a rank up. (15+15 = 30+rankup). This is not an issue for me as I love grinding but when the cash shop offers you some materials for cash it feels a bit p2w, but then again there was never an issue with grinding in the Abyss as it's quick and fast but for new players it's probably going to turn them off.

And with that mention this will lead to the honorable mention of AFK/Bot farming in Abyss which I saw in the test before Early Access and in Crush Online. People will leave their PC on to afk farm in the Abyss in the last map vs the demons. Just because the game is grindy and requires you to farm up the gold, and fragments to upgrade. This can be prevented by having a system to kick people but since they auto attack and walk it's probably not possible, but it was preventable by dragging enemies near them to lure them out of their afk spot which I did (For justice!). This was never prevented from the previous game and made it look very sad that players has to do this type of farming.

Tutorial in this game is a bit vague and players are sometimes lost, maybe it's not the game's fault but for the non english native speakers this might be an issue for them to know what's up, especially new players. I had no issue of course due to being an old player but a pop up or something to teach players about how certain things works is probably better because they tend to skip dialogues or not read. Mostly their own fault but if a pop up that requires you to click on X instead with images could be much better or in general improved. This also counts for the things such as the new upgrade system where I learned afterwards that you need 2x weapons of lv 15 tier 1 to upgrade to tier 2 as I chose the other weapon for reward not knowing that I needed a duplicate.

Dimension portals aka the dungeon portals are very limited in certain maps, especially starting area where players have to wait for others to finish or unable to enter with their party/friends because someone else is already inside and probably cleared all the enemies. A player can troll others by clearing all the enemies inside and just afk in there. Usually happens to the portal where the auto path takes the new players. Due to this issue you may end up wasting the energy that is being consumed and the re-work for that was done poorly.

Dungeon in the fortress is only for "solo" which is doable untill hardmode

There are probably more things to add on both pro and con and much much more to talk in details about but this should be good enough for a review of Crush Online 2.0 aka Warmonger. This is of course my opinion of the game and I can't recommend it at current state. It is an early access game and it can be improved but I won't come back to the game even though it was fun re-living the minor heat in Abyss with PvP. I did realize that the higher lvl/equipped players will always be superior if you grind from start. It made me become an online bully as a high lvl beating low level, as I saw a player rage in chat that our nation never allowed them to finish their quest. Something that you need to look up on aswell GiF!
Players shall not rage or quit because they can't finish their low level quest in abyss before they get into the dungeons which is the main thing as Abyss is more for the beginner/afk farming.

If you are new to the game, feel free to try it out, it might interest you as they update the game.
