As you can see, I played this game for quite a while, dumping enough hours in order to try and get the most out of this game. I wanted to love this game, I wanted for this to be a return to form for Bethesda, but really, this is just another Skyrim, "as wide as the ocean, as deep as a pond." I would suggest that everyone stays away from the game until two things happen. The creation kit is released to modders and the game goes on deep discount during a sale. If you want a great "Bethesda" experience, go play Cyberpunk 2.0, if you want to play a great RPG go play BG3 or Fallout: NV. Hell if you want to waste time shooting things go play Fallout 4, preferably with some mods. The fact of the matter is, sadly, Starfield does not do anything at all the other games have not already done better. Its mid and not worth anywhere near $70.00 If you can get it for $20, sure its a time sink and you might have an ok time.

TL;DR game is mid, play anything else.

I'm glad you liked it. Sinking 220+ hours into the game and getting all the achievements is pretty impressive. Good job!

What baffles me the most though is that many, if not all of the latest reviews, yours included, doesn't seem to understand what a review really means. We only get a lot of baseless opinions listed without any discussion about why you liked/disliked the game. It would have been a lot more interesting if you had provided any information regarding your game play that you preferable based your opinion on. But sadly you didn't. I mean you have obviously played enough hours to be able to do so. That would have been more helpful too for people trying to decide to buy the game or not. But maybe that is not what you tried to accomplish here?

As it stands now unfortunately this "review" as so many others is not as much a review as it is just meh.

Please save the salt for your crackers, pineapple slices, or pina coladas. The game isn't perfect, we get that...wait patiently like the rest of us, or just leave and come back when you're satisfied that it meets your standard....Maybe you should try being a DEV create a game you think highly of and are quite proud of your accomplishment, then have to tolerate the rantings of D-Bags whine, piss, moan, and complain that the game they paid their hard earned money for doesn't live up to their expectations, meanwhile a fair amount of players like myself are having a blast doing simple things and enjoying the hell out of this damn game... ANYWAY....Have a nice day =)

This game is decent enough to occupy the time of those of us who want to kill time after a hard days work. getting lost exploring, killing bad guys...or dare I say good guys,,,I'm a villainess myself so I do in fact get my fill of enjoyment drilling the UC, FSR, or FSC point blank right between the eyes with any weapon i fancy...then find something else to occupy my time so I may unwind and get lost in what this game has to offer and still not even really touch the main story-line. So, you've said your piece, now I've countered with my thoughts...

This game isn't gonna hit for everyone, especially the whiny Little B types...ya we can tell that some aspects of this game were rushed or dumbed-down as it were for the greater gaming experience so says the all mighty Todd...but, be that as it may....it's nowhere near as broken as Cyberpunk 2077 was at launch which all die hard fans of the genre such as myself know damn well that game needed to be pushed back at least another year to have had a better that abysmal reception.
