This is a stellar cooperative multiplayer game, with a strong community. Tentatively, while we wait for more details on recent changes, I recommend this for anyone looking for a four player squad game. It ranges from fun, wild, tense, crazy, funny, and it can be a bit buggy, but you and your friends will have a good time. Still, Helldivers all stand together, and we won't forget.

I'll be honest, if the decision to continue with the PSN requirement stays by June 4th, I'd probably comply. Unfortunately there are the other players that will not and can not create or link a PSN account. This choice already has and will continue to hurt and hinder the player-base of the game, so I WILL NOT recommend this once stellar cooperative multiplayer game.

I'd like to add that the game should have not launched without the requirement for PSN being enforced. The lack of which clearly showed that there was no technical or legal reason to now require it. Better transparency of the requirement may improve the situation, but I have my doubts.

This game was gratefully gifted to me by a friend, and I've later purchased the upgrade to the Super Citizen Edition.
