Auto battler with a large array of Mechs, instant queue times for multiplayer matches. Need I say more?

I too, don't enjoy developers who willingly threaten to shutdown their game in the face of criticism.

Very promising. Gives off a great classic sim city vibe. There's the beginnings of a campaign with hard/easy/normal, which i'm excited for.

The most surprising aspect was that you can build multiple layers both into the sky, and under ground. You can legit have a residential slum living next to sewers two levels down. You scale your cities in this manner, rather then with horizontal sprawl

Do you want to maul enemy troops with a giant bear?
Do you want to bayonet charge with a walking soda can?
Do you want to laugh maniacally while sending suicide mono wheels into your opponents lines?
Do you want to plow through buildings with a giant mech, while one shoting infantry squads?
Do you want to charge into the lines with some sword wielding horsy bois, while throwing explosive charges?
Do you want to blot out the skies with a unecessary amount of rocket fire?
Do you want to punch things with exo suits?
Do you want to stab other mechs with giant scythe mech arms?
Do you want to jetpack jump ontop of a bunch of dudes using steam punk space marines?
Do you want to stomp around with a steam punk AT-AT in the name of the steam punk emperor?
Do you want to fear walking trashcans wielding dual machine guns?
Do you want to know what Janek showed Anna?

If yes to any of the above, buy this game.

Note the development team is committed to updating the game over the next few weeks with more content along the lines of what was promised in the backer campaign.

A multiplayer ranked mode will be added in later part of this month.
The co-op campaign will be released in the next two weeks.

I'm a huge fan of the lore and can wait a few weeks to get everything listed on the steam store page.

Videos of my gameplay

I was skeptical at first, but have become pleasently surprised by this RTS / Tower Defense hybrid. As of this review, I have played the first 3 missions on Hard mode. You'll find missions turn the tower defense genre on it's head, by seamlessly weaving RTS concepts into the missions. For example, after defending the classic 10 waves at a base and defeating the boss, you might be required to "go on the offensive", or claim strategic parts of the map for a bonus.

The graphics are modern and look like what you would expect in a Science Fiction setting.

The controls feel modern, including even control groups and unit selection hotkeys, like you would expect in an RTS.

There are voice acted briefings before each mission, outlining the story of the game.

The progressive nature of the game, continually gives you more and more access to an increasingly more interesting set of passive perks, ground/air units and towers.

I would recommend this game to anyone who loves RTS games, and a sci fi setting.
