I wanted to be able to recommend this game, but there's one gameplay issue that prevents me from being able to do so: order readers, when turned off by a computer, continue to function.

The ro—er, fellow human makes me laugh. The automation environment is engaging, and I enjoy the puzzle aspect of the campaign challenges. As a programmer at heart, I was excited to reach levels where the AC-16 and AC-32 were unlocked to me. Unfortunately, once I had carefully written my code to ensure that I wouldn't surpass the ingredient maximum of the campaign level, I found that despite meeting the conditions to switch off the order readers AND ACTUALLY SWITCHING OFF the order readers, said order readers continue to reach from beyond the veil to cause dispensers to continue dispensing product.

Can this be worked around? Probably, with dispenser timing and loop counts. Unfortunately, I have no motivation at all to write a bunch of extra code to force something that should be simple and efficient.

I'm going to keep following the game in case an update fixes this issue (and maybe adds a splitter whose direction can be computer-controlled), but until then, this game is fun until you reach a level where you need the AC-16 and AC-32 to be useful.

This game is fantastic to come back to time and again when I want a beautiful, fun puzzle game. The earlier levels are relaxing, and the later levels are challenging, which means I can play whether I'm looking for a challenge or not. It's a particularly good choice for touch-screen gaming.
