On first glance, you get a vaugely lesbian cutesy visual novel with a few gameplay choices sprinkled here and there. The main thing that stands out is the art, which is A+ pretty.

The REAL kicker for me was how this relates to historical figures; namely the Lake Poets (Southey, Coleridge, and Wordsworth). You also get an additional Byron and Shelley- but wait, there's more! They're cute high school girls. Yes, they behave like their real-life couterparts; and if you have a thing for the Romantics or have a little Gothic sensiblilty, you'll dig this gem just like I do.
Read the wiki if you don't know much about any of these poets, I promise you'll enjoy the game a ton more after doing so.

Byron is such a tool. XD

Do you have five minutes to laugh at something intentionally stupid? Do you like low-brow humor and making race car noises? Have a penchant for Saturn V rockets?

Buy this game, but only in a bundle or on sale *and* only if you like kinetic visual novels. It is short, so at full price you might not feel like you're getting full value.

Cheap and satisfying. Some games age like fruit, and others like fine wine; this would be squarely in the latter category. Just weird and hard enough to make you keep playing while trying to figure out what's the hell's going on in this cyber-laden dystopia.
Contains extreme horror elements. If you have some sort of "trigger" (here's lookin' at you, Tumblr) this bad boy's not for you or the easily butthurt.

I haven't read the novel or short story this was based on, but I don't think that prevented me from enjoying several rather well-written elements. I almost feel like whining "but, but... why don't they make games like this anymore?" XD XP

Bascially, you date chicks using puzzles (similar to Candy Crush or Bejeweled). Sucessful completion of said puzzles results in you getting laid and also earning money. Do well enough and they'll send you nude texts too. Wait... why isn't this real life? XD

Bonus: They all curse like sailors. Also, the amusement of your friends when you tell them about playing this.

This may look like some dating sim deal, but after going through most of the endings... I can assure you, it reads closer to a sci-fi espionage plot with romantic elements. And birds. For a game created on a whim, it's surprisingly good.

Still on the fence? Youtube Pewdiepie's review of this for additional lulz.

Really, when it comes down to it... you probably already know this game is awesome and you either a) haven't tried it or b) know it's awesome from personal experience. Give it a go if you haven't, especially if turn-based strat/citybuilders seem kinda interesting to you.

The major difference I've found between Civ 5 and it's predecessor, Civ 4, is that Civ 5 is really clunky and boring without all the DLC. I played standalone Civ 4 for countless hours; Civ 5 simply didn't click with me until I bought the DLC at the urging of a friend.

Moral of the story is: buy the game and all the DLC during a sale. It's worth it.

A citybuilding, turn-based strat with RPG elements?? Totally worth it. Buy it on sale and it's a bloody steal.

Hours. Hours down the suck-tube. Still the best in people simulators, although I never knew it was missing the opportunity to "poop angrily" a la Sims 4. Just let me poop angrily in Sims 3 so I don't even have to buy the fourth one. It's too damn expensive.

Simple yet engrossing; feels vaugely mmo-ish without being one.

Nicely done standard dungeon-crawling Baldur's Gate redux with just enough story to keep you playing. Bonus: small download size (only 160 mb), so getting from buying to playing took less than 10 minutes.
