This game reminded me of Pokemon at first. Then, I felt nostalgic for games like Chrono Trigger and Final Fantasy. This game does a very good job of being entertaining and allowing you to experience it at your own pace. I definitely recommend this game for those looking to experience the nostalgia again of the games I listed above.

This game is one of the few on Steam that I would recommend for anyone. If you don't know much about it from the videos, with all the crashing spaceships and whatnot, then just envision minecraft in space with a very sophisticated physics engine and realistic space gameplay. I have so far built tons of spaceships in the creative mode ranging from huge cruisers to smaller fighter/corvette type space faring ships. The major part of the game takes place in survival mode. You discover that you must have Uranium to power your reactors. Without power, you die. Your suit is powered. These things add a sense of urgency when you are trying to mine enough uranium with a hand drill to stay alive. I recommend this game to anyone who likes to learn.

For the passing casual gamer who has not played PC online shooters and prefers a controller, this is not the game for you. If you love Counter Strike, and get your rocks off playing games like that, this game might appeal to you. Just not for me.

Plague Inc: Evolved is an interesting game that reminds me of Pandemic. It is a very fun way to pass the time, and the amount of detail within the game is amazing. I recommend it to anyone who likes simulations.
