*TL;DR;* Had a nice time, but I can't recommend at the price point.
Pros:
- Stellar art style
- Cosy feel
- Atmospheric, music is evocative
- Some feels along the way

Cons:
- Far too short for £15.99, let alone the full price of £19.99
- Story lacks detail, there's no real payoff
- Controls are tricky
- Pretty samey experience-wise - ultimately just avoid the {danger}, interact with the {thing}

If Pikmin had a baby with Factorio, it'd be something like this. Cute graphics, solid automation mechanics, satisfying interactions and animations.

Lacking storyline in early access and gets a bit grindy towards the end of the current content but I have faith it's going to continue building to a fantastic game.

A really engaging story very well told. Interesting game mechanics and puzzles. Well worth a visit!

Bags of character, an art style I adore, some really solid gameplay mechanics and level design.

Bastion is one of those games that's a pleasant surprise, it's innovative, highly polished, consistent in it's art style, music and game play.

That I completed it in my first sitting is testament, not to it's length (which is respectable) but to it's ability to suck you in to the immersive world it creates.

Every aspect of Bastion feels like part of the story, it's probably my favourite game of 2011. Go buy and enjoy it now!
