I love these games. Supermassive is really good at making actual diverging paths in a choose your own adventure game. Play with headphones if you can.

Quality game. Surprisingly stable for an early 2010's console port.

There's multiple endings making it worth playing again. Buy it on sale if you want a solid 10 hour single player game with decent ranged and melee combat.

This game is just a treat. I just finished my first playthrough where I maxed out all friendships including DLC characters. Took a bit longer than I wanted it to and is admittedly tedious but at times I enjoyed learning about the heroes I was working with. Combat looks odd from the outside but after a little while it became second nature. Turn based yes but flows so nicely, especially when you have a well optimized team.
Firaxis did not disappoint. I you like tabletop games, or are an XCOM fan with an open mind, I'm pretty confident you'll enjoy it.

So For The longest time ive always loved Darksiders. A heavily story Driven RPG with a premise i adored and a combat system thats hectic yet well layed out for fast fluent combat. With Darksiders 3 i feel like they kept the same quality but barely worked off of it. What i mean is the fluency of the combat itself is there (other than a few glitches that seemed to be fixed after the Dec. 3rd update) but when it came to adding that extra versitility it fell short just a bit. Throughout the game as you progress through the story killing off the Seven Deadly Sins( Absolutely LOVED that idea BTW) you unlock up to 4 different "Hollows" which each offer a unique weapon and an element damage such as fire or ice that you can of course with their own combos. These Hollows were Really cool to mess around with and realizing that each Hollow also offers different jumps such as a triple jump to reach high places or a glide to reach far places made for reason to return to some other locations to pick up loot or save a survivor.

Now this is where it kinda fell short for me... The Story itself... it was Good not great but good enough to keep me from skipping any cutscenes or mashing through diologue. but as i progressed about 3/4 through the game i said "Oh its one of these kinds of stories" fairly generic with a few unique twists and turns.

Next comes the Graphics. once again not amazing. defininetly good for gamers with a fairly mid tier PC Build but having any high end parts will not make this game shine any more. after playing the Remastered versions of 1 and 2 id say there was really no improvement other than rounding out some edges and giving Fury's hair a bit of physics.

In Conclusion. As Long as you dont get your hopes up too high for a sequel from a borderline dead Publisher youll love the game. I Paid $150 USD for the collectors edition and im still not dissapointed. I knew what i was getting into and although a few aspects of the game are a little sucky I still got just short of 20 hours of fun and its still another addition to the Darksiders Franchise. Just because it seemed to be focused a bit more than the previous games id love to see a final game just to say they didnt stop after 3 of the 4 Horsemen.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~7.5/10~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Early Access Review
Ive been playing this game since the week it was released because it looked freaking awesome lazers explosions and bright neon colors that just harmonize very well my friend and i found this to be a very simple multiplayer game that you could easily just start up and play for a short or long time without having to worry about saves or progress because we could tell it was just made to be fun... we recently went to PAX 2015 and ran into the ONE AND ONLY devolper of this game "Super Duper Garrett Cooper" we were astonished by the fact that this game was made by a single person and along with the suprise of meeting him we actually got to see the new update and since we were playing the original version we found it to look great new weapons were added along with new enemies and "Dark Servers"
i say listen to the "What the developers have to say" Box and buy it while its at $10 you will pay off that money in gameplay easily within a week guarenteed
10/10 This should be in your steam library
