In most cases sequels are worst than the original game, Batman Arkham City isn't one of them, it doesn't just get the good things from the previous game, it also expands them, in a world full of possibilities it's easy to forget what you were doing and just do the side quests, the combat has been improved as well, the plot was well written, not just getting a bunch of characters and throwing them into the game, this game is definitely a master-piece and the best Super-Hero based game to date.
