Art of rally offers really beautiful landscape along with lighting, The driving style feels just fine as such indie game should have. It has decent amount of popular cars that existed in such Group leagues, quite maps to choose, pretty clear and modern UI. Maybe it is kinda overpriced, but that's not the main case. So what could be wrong with such ideal game?
Optimisation. It really lacks any of it. And I understand that game made in Unity can be tough to be stable, but I am nearly sure that if devs really wanted it to run smooth on not ultra-high PCs they could do so. You only need time, huh? I mean, if my decent PC can run easily Forza Horizon 4, which you definitely could say that is one of the prettiest games ATM on highest graphic settings with no trouble at all, why it can barely hit 60 FPS on medium? And the FPS drops, when you enter into forested area - unpleasant. So grab your code and better fix it!
And UI. I was stuck at least 4 times watching 1 line of sentence for 30 seconds just to realise that you have to press any button to get to next line. I thought it was a loading screen! Why won't you put ANY hint that would say to player "you gotta click something, John"? Also, the whole menu and "loading" word could be a little bigger or just at least customizable. Think about possibility to increase letters and maybe add option to customise whole white screen at menu, e.g fill it with some videos from the in-game. And don't get me wrong - it is really beautiful and has it's charm, but it feels kinda unfinished.
At the day of release - I would not recommend it because of the optimisation - it is definitely horrible and devs gotta do something about it really quick, otherwise this game won't be as hyped as their previous game was.
