OK, I guess I'm left with no other option but to give it a negative review. Unfortunate, because I did enjoy the game until some point, but a serious bug I've reported over a year ago was not addressed.

For the bug itself: once you place sufficient number of items in the bank, for whatever reason it slows down considerably. If you, say, open the bank and scroll to page 12, the item icons won't even load. Hovering any item there also won't display its stats. For a looter shooter where you minmax stuff including gear, this basically makes sorting gear an absolute pain in the behind if not impossible. Trying to compare items from the last run takes LONGER than the run itself.
tl;dr: bank be borked.

And I'm not the only person with that problem, plus it's not my CPU or GPU to blame. Perhaps the chair cause I'm not using a gaming one, hmm.

I am not looking forward to Borderlands 4, since I've heard that similar issues were present in Borderlands 3 (luckily I never encountered those myself), which leads me to believe that some intern wrote a part of their engine with O(2^n) "brilliant algorithm" to load the bank data. It was reported, acknowledged by 2K support, I was tossed 3 chest codes for bothering to report it, and nothing else was ever done. RIP.

Bought it for 06 - Pulse after listening to some poor streaming soul trying to pass that level for 5-6 hours.

Thought I'd keep the fond memories of that agony.

I don't understand, but this is just fun. The thing I love about this game the most is that you can play it for a couple of minutes and you still gain things (items, challenges, etc). Perfect game when you have a 30 minute break.

Also, the music is just so damn great.

Mixed feelings. The game is pretty fun, as far as idle-ish RPGs go. However, they definitely "borrowed" a lot of ideas from Diablo: Immoral. Think EXACT SAME idea of battle pass, for example. An not-exactly super cheap battle pass, either, which for a game with visuals being... well, just icons (not really a problem, but paying for premium seasonal battle pass for... slightly less premium experience, I suppose, is a bit... eh).
Yes, you can get all the stuff by simply grinding forever, but for starters, Opals (the "premium currency") don't drop that much, and you need quite a few for, say, unlocking skill slots. I'd argue that passive skill slots are important, and if you want to be anywhere on the seasonal scoreboard... Yeah. You'd need to unlock them, and do it quick. That's quite P2W part of the game.

However, despite not paying a dime, I'm still having some fun.

Apart from the above, the visuals and sounds aren't AAA+ level, but the mechanics are fun. Wish there were more skills. Wish the stashes were... done a bit better. Wish item filter creation UI was more intuitive. Wish... the prices weren't kind of high. I mean, if I'd be crazy and going to choose whether I want to spend that money on Diablo: Immoral, or on Nordicandia, I'm sorry to say, but the first one may be a bit more fun... And definitely is MUCH more polished. (It's nonsense due to the monetization, however, so don't even touch it.)
Also, beware this is a normal "numbers go brrrrrr exponentially" idle game, so the gear you spent hours to upgrade and polish will be useless five areas from now, so if you're a loot collector, that may not be a game for you.

Bottom line is: try it if you're into idle games. You have nothing to lose. It's a fun game, but I don't think I'll stay around for very long.

I know the dev team is small, but they seem to be gone AWOL. There was a small update on the mobile not that long ago, but come on, you've released this game on Steam promising changes and updates on par with mobile. But it's consistently getting ABSOLUTELY ZERO attention from you.

So here's my voice of discontent and disapproval.

Wait, those 4 mirror things are *THE* Season Pass?

LOL. For 1/4 the price... maybe?

So, this game isn't really what I'd classify as an aRPG. And it's not that great yet, but it's still being updated.

However, the most important thing is that when I launched this game, I was tossed into a waifu creation menu, and the waifu I created was so damn pretty I JUST CANNOT give this game a thumbs down. It's worth it just for the screencaps you'll take.

I'm almost 250h in and I've tried out only a fraction of things I want to try out. Not to mention, not all classes are available, so once they add them I'll need another 100h just to try them out.

The game's great, a lot of fun. The idea is to make all kinds of builds (except those i'd call "shooting one's own foot") viable, which just multiplies the fun cause you can play the way you want.

No more D3 "one set to rule them all" "build variety".

So far I'll give this game a YES. Yeah, a pretty big one.

I haven't had so much fun for quite some time. With a gotcha, though - you need the DLCs (at least the War of the Chosen). The base game I started playing, basically got my team of four against enemy team of six including two sectoids that instantly mind-controlled two on my team, therefore I was two against eight... Nah, thanks. Not very fun. With the DLC however they have seem to rebalanced it a bit and hence the game is just so much more fun. Also, the other classes, Templars/Reapers/Skirmishers (in that order) are awesome.

One big tip, however: on your second launch, first add -allowconsole to the commandline of the game, then while in-game press tilde (`), and type "slomo 2". This makes all animations twice as fast, and boy are they slow as hell and annoying, especially the Avenger room transition one is ridiculous. Out of my 45h of playtime probably 3h spent watching those SLOW animations. (Also Zip mode in the options to make enemies skip pointless animations)

Really great price for this awesome soundtrack, it's worth even more.

Oh, and they give you the game for free with that.
