This game is so poorly optimised it's embarassing. Crashes very often, and I also have an issue where it will unexpectedly start to chug my pc, making my input & output audio bitcrush to ♥♥♥♥, and also disable my mouse and keyboard.
I just want to play the campaign but I have to do sections over and over because not only can you not save (and if you end the game and replay it out of paranoia of it crashing, it doesn't spawn you at your last checkpoint), but even when I just play normally the game will either freeze and crash or destroy my peripherals' functionality.

This game is not finished, which is really disappointing since it looks and feels (gameplay-wise) better than 4 and 5. Story seems sick too but I'm having a difficult time playing through it.

This really is just the most satisfying and relaxing game I've ever played. It's super easy to understand and get to grips with in general, but the wiki does help for keeping track of certain recipes or whatever. There are occasional bugs you come across, but nothing too mental.

One thing I really appreciate in this game is that you can unlock cosmetics through getting achievements. It's something I've always really appreciated in games but thinking about it, the last game I remember enjoying this feature in is Halo 3, so if you're like me and you love stuff like that, it'll only add to the enjoyment you get from this game.
The multiplayer is seamless (maybe a little too seamless as you're not notified in any way if a friend hops in your game) and is more buggy than single player, but again, not too crazy, and understandable as the game is still seemingly in an early state.

It's really quickly become one of my favourite games, and I'm jealous of kids that'll get to grow up playing this, because this would have been 1000% my jam if it was around when I was little. There's things you come across in this game that are seriously awe-striking and I really recommend just experiencing the game for yourself before watching anything on it, because it's like nothing I've ever played before.

9.5/10 minor bugs, incredible game.

I'm so bad at this game, but it looks nice and I like the references. Triple caution.

Given how long ago this game came out, the price, and how many hours I've poured into it, the amount I've actually spent on it is equivalent to 0.3 pence per hour of time spent with it running, and that's just online. Could you imagine paying such a tiny amount for any kind of subscription service? An absolute steal.

Buying this game back in 2011 when it came out was undoubtedly more beneficial because of the constant stream of content updates over the years that have been evolving the game into something so much more than it originally was, and has become just one of those games that basically everyone has, because why would you not? It's Terraria. Simple but with optional complexities, relaxing, fun, piss easy or hard as ♥♥♥♥, and even better with friends. Whatever you want.

It's been an absolute pleasure to see it grow, and is sad to see it come to its final update, but it will always be up there with the greats. Easily my favourite non-story driven game.
