to be in possession of weapons is the most basic human right. this world has not changed in any meaningful way since the inception of weapons. life is still cruel. monsters still roam the woods. man is still feral. violence should be easily accessible to everyone. a disparity in bodily strength can be rendered moot by the artful use of sharp blades, keen points, firearms and traps. being toothless doesn't make someone peaceful. it only makes that someone weak and useless. a peaceful person is one who has the capacity for violence and the conscientiousness required to use it sparingly. most importantly, weapons allow freaks to be freaks, giving them the means to keep their freakish nature intact.
