It is a good game and worth playing, but I still have some mixed feelings.
I've never played AC series before, so there is nothing for me to compare Odyssey woth. However, I've enjoyed Witcher 3 - and in my head there is a constant comparison of these two games.
Odyssey has cool graphics, locations, huge open world, it is great fighting enemies or hunting them down. But it is rather soulless. I cannot feel something, feel sorry for the loss or revival of the characters. Alexios seems to be arrogant and very self-confident, he usually solves all the problems with force - and this makes him really one-sided brute. I cannot relate to him and don't want to be like him.
So if you seek some deep game with good scenario and characters, play other games. otherwise, play Odyssey.

It is the end of 20th century, the Apocalypse has begun and Scotland decided to liberate the city of Mitla from Germans.
Allied with Zulus, Scotland dragged their Giant Robots close to the city.
The odds are even.
Suddenly a giant meteorite crashes into the city of Mitla and burns it to the ground, leaving the armies of both states puzzled.
10/10, will definitely play again, best game mode ever.

Love the atmosphere, love the plot, it is really interesting to try all those side quests. And also all the voicing is incredible. Worth buying and playing.

It catches you. Makes you desire to stay in this world, walk there, look at the incredible landscapes, it makes you wonder what will await you.
I've just finished the game, but I want to play over and over again just to be in this world a little more.

I didn't have high expectations, but this game amazed me. Better diplomacy, better AI, rich graphics (I squashed a soldier with trebuchet), everything is so beatiful and intersting it is worth every cent I paid.

As for me, it is a great game. Of course, there are some flaws, everyone has them.
But let's be honest, it is not just an add-on for Attila. It is a new game, where the atmosphere, the better AI, the gameplay itself make you continue playing. I feel the atmosphere of the early Medieval England. And that is all I desire.

Lots of hours played in my childhood.
The game has been finished some 10 times already.
But I still love it, it is still so fascinating, so beautiful and exciting.
New DLC adds some interesting features, and it makes me wish to play it again.

This game is definitely better, that civ 5.
Of course, there are some disadvantages, such as small button for attacking the enemy by the garrison.
But it is challenging, interesting, it captures you and doesn't let you go, till you will made your last turn...or maybe one more?

Excellent game for those who are tired and want to blow off the steam.
Enjoy it so much.
