This version of the game does NOT include progression via unlocking cards. The feature has been removed completely so everything is available from the beginning. City levels are only used for visual upgrades.
I understand that it evens the playing-field online play, but why remove it for players that play single player? If everything is unlocked from the beginning, there is no progress, no excitement when winning a single player game.
I have looked through all mods, but there is no replacement for the old card progression mechanic. I requested a refund... :(

If you love building and automating stuff, you will love this game.
It is fun to play solo and even better with friends.
It might still be in eary access, but there is enough content for hundreds of hours of gameplay,
where you spent your time on optimizing a production line or try to get one of the challenging achievements.

One of the best games I have ever played.
It is also one of the few games I have completed several times.
Finally a game that focuses on grinding items and rpg-elements without going totally overboard with horror movie abiente.
The level design is just plain awesome, the levels are static which allows them to be of a much higher detail than some other hack and slay games.
The only drawback is the multiplayer part, where people were able to hack items into the game which are so strong that the game isn't fun anymore.
Therefore I only play with friends and then it is a super fun!
