teammates are the death of me

I am writing this review before the campaign comes out, so the review is subject to change in the future. I would say that if you're thinking about playing the multiplayer, give it a try. I like most of the maps and modes that they offer and the abilities you can get while playing. I also think that the ranked mode in this game is interesting, because you can have different ranks for cross platform, k&m, and controller. I haven't played much of ranked so I don't really know how it works, but I've heard it isn't so good so I'll update my review once I play it more. With the little amount that I have played ranked, I am not the biggest fan of that you start with the semi-auto rifle compared to the normal assault rifle. Now, the main problem that I currently have with the game is the leveling system. Since this is a halo multiplayer, I would've really liked that there was an actual leveling system tied with the game because that gives me more reason to grind the game and just play it more in general. I know that they have a battle pass in this game which is their leveling system, but it's just not the same as a actual leveling system because you can't even get half of the rewards unless you pay ten dollars for it, which isn't much, but I just don't want to do that. My second main problem with the game is the lack of customization I can do with my spartan. I know that the game just came out, but it is still annoying that I need to pay ten dollars to get most of the customization to inside of this game. Also, to get that customization, you need to play A LOT, and I mean A LOT, to get those cosmetics. I am also writing this review when there is a special battle pass in the game and a special game mode, which in general is a great addition, because the special battle pass is completely free. The game mode is alright but it can be very frustrating because you can spawn in with any guns and I don't like having to go up against an energy sword when all I got is a plasma pistol. So in conclusion, I would give this game a 6.5/10 for an overall rating and I will definitely be playing it a lot more in the future.

If you have played Albion Online, you will realize that in the first hour of playing that almost every single aspect of this game is the game except for the way better graphics, third person, and a few other things. I really do like this game, but I don't think it is worth the money is you can just play MMOs that are similar to this. If this game had the same aspects and no player market, I would like it a lot better. It is just pay to win and since I haven't played it for long enough, I am going to refund it. I will probably buy it again if it goes on sale at some point in the future.
