The atmosphere is extremely well executed. I am dubious about remakes, particularly of games I played and loved on PS1, and PS2.

My god how wrong I was to be sceptical. It delivers the punch of the original, with a fantastic touch of dread to environments and sound design that keeps me on my toes, I did not expect to be scared in Silent Hill again - yet I am. Wonderfully scared, I feel it in my stomach.

Welcome back.

Love it. I get to pretend I'm a mage by shouting spells down my mic which makes my neighbours avoid me it's a win-win.

Amy Hennig was the Creative Director. Kurt Harland made the soundtrack.

As one of the first PC games I played online, Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy holds a nostalgic value for me.

The game was pushed out before it was fully finished, so a few things were left out that were being developed. Luckily it had a large modding community and there was (and still is) plenty to add to it. Although the singleplayer is lacking, the multiplayer has always been particularly fun & there are a great bunch of people keeping this game alive and keeping it challenging for newcomers.

For such a cheap price I couldn't recommend it more.

7/10
