Amazing content. Not nearly as difficult as other reviews say as long as you actually engage with the new leveling systems and the summons like the game intends. But this is Fromsoft, you know what you're getting.

Amazing game if you like the "grind for gear" sort of mechanic. Had a bit of a rocky start with its PC port, but what AAA game doesn't these days? They've figured it out, and we got an awesome PC Monster Hunter now! Please keep them coming, CAPCOM!

The story is fantastic and sucked me in for hours, the visuals are incredible, and the gameplay is the most satisfying I've ever had in an RPG. The combat especially is amazing. It's a little hard to get used to, since it's not just the "point, click, and kill everything" style you'll see in games like Skyrim, but it's really the only RPG I've ever played that I've actually felt PROUD of myself for finally taking out that wyvern or griffin or whatever. Every encounter is a puzzle. You have to actually THINK when fighting, which is how a game should be. Somehow, this game managed to pull off making you feel like a badass while at the same time not giving you godlike fighting abilities, and I'm still sitting here in awe of it.
