Returning to the original 2D design is so refreshing. To see all of the updated pixel art is incredible, and the game is as unforgiving as always.

Risk of rain doesn't transition perfectly to a 3D space, but it does a good job of it. Over all a great game.

In Chapter 1 level 4 you fall through the floor and cannot play further.

Unlike its predecessors this game is less horror and more run and gun. As a fan of the series, I can't recommend this at all.

This really needs to be a feature film. It was exciting and amazing. The only drawback is how short it is.
