A wonderful game with a great narrative that pulls you in. It's able to put you in a world (house technically) alone, yet make it feel lived in. It's really sort of amazing how much depth the developers were able to give to characters you never interact with, and keep you wanting to learn more about them. I pushed through this entire game in a single sitting, and I feel like there is so much I probably missed, so many breadcrumbs of story that I passed up. Herein lies the downfall of this style of game, once you've learned all the big secrets, it's hard to go back through and play again to find the stuff you missed. With all of this said, if you aren't a fan of walking simulators, this game likely isn't for you. HOWEVER, if you enjoy narrative driven games that ask you to empathize with a struggling character and possibly learn something about yourself in the process, I highly reccomend this game even with its (relatively) short playtime.

Online is a microtransaction ridden hell, and single player was screwed by a deliberate attack on the modding community by Take-Two. I used to enjoy this game quite a bit, but I'll no longer support a company that entirely disregards a huge section of their playerbase (whom have already paid them for the game) in favor of more money.
