Amazing game with developers that truly seem to care about their community, how unfortunate to say the least.

EDIT: The community made its voice heard and Sony has reversed the decision, changing my negative review back to positive. Thank you Arrowhead and my fellow Helldivers for fighting for TRUE DEMOCRACY!

Don't buy it if you ♥♥♥♥♥♥ suck

Played just under 20 matches, and here after understanding how the game plays out is my impression of this copy and paste Battle Royale game.

Pros:
1.It's Free2Play thank god.

2.There is nothing I can even list here that is worth listing, everything they did right with the game isn't anything new it's the same thing we get from the previous BR games. The jump roll spam is okay I guess?

Cons:

-LOOT DESIGN SUCKS-

1.Wretched looting design, weapons more often than not spawn without their ammo, this can even happen to weapons you get from drops inside the random openable boxes you find lying around. When weapons do spawn with their ammo it is never directly next to the weapon so getting your weapon ready is a hassle; they are located in different spots of the room that they spawned in and you would think that when you grab the weapon and ammo the first clip would at least be pre-loaded to ease the struggle of getting the weapon ready to fire but NOPE you need to find a weapon, locate the ammo and load the clip before your first weapon is ready to go.

-MOVEMENT BLOWS-

2. The movement in this game isn't impressive, it feels very stiff and your only mobility tactic to dodging bullets in any and every situation is to spam jump roll.

-BAD DEFAULT CONTROL SCHEME-

3. The default controls are awkward, scrolling across your hotbar with your scroll wheel is inverted for whatever ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ reason, and your interact button is E which in most cases is fine, but if you're a regular Battle Royale player you'll know that most other Battle Royale games have the interact button defaulted to F; take Fortnite and PLAYERUNKNOWN'S Battlegrounds for example. It's little things considered like these that will make a game shine, I feel like they just took the base formula of a BR game, gave it a cringy 80's spin on it and slapped it out there for Early Access.

-CHARACTER CREATION IS TERRIBLE-

4. Yet again and to no surprise the character creation for the game like every other Battle Royale game is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ god awful. I guess everyone thinks that no one cares if they just don't pay any attention at all to character creation but IN MY OPINION a Battle Royale game that takes a little effort to making a decent character creation would be fanastic, I think most people would love a Battle Royale game that takes the time to giving the players a decent character creation so that they can really become attached to their characters. I know BR games aren't story driven games or anything, it's pure PvP with nothing to be told but people like to have a decent looking character, it adds to the experience a lot more than people realise.

-FINAL THOUGHTS-

The game is Free 2 Play, so if you want to try it, try it. I personally think the game isn't unique at all, the 80's theme doesn't make the game actually unique on any other terms; BUT to each their own so if you like the game have at it. Personally I wouldn't recommend it to anyone but it wouldn't hurt you to take a crack at it, the game is free to play.

Edit: ALSO BE AWARE this game has no anti-cheat or report system in place so to no surprise cheaters are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ rampant in this game and there isn't ♥♥♥♥ you can do about it. So if you like getting headshotted by guys riding around on bikes from far distances HAVE AT IT :)...
