Game now Requires more than surface level game knowledge and Good aim to be a good player. Now sticking to fireteams of at least 3 at all times and using basic military tactics will lead to success the vast majority of the time over players who do not stick to these principles. You may lose some 1v1s in silly ways, but the ultimate gratification in a game like squad is not dependent on you losing or winning a 1v1, its about you and your team being in the right position, with good logistics, at the right time. Firefights in the new engagement feel much more distinct and individual, and make you become much more engaged.
