Don't understand why this game is as fun as it is because going into it I definitely didn't expect much. But it seems like every time we play we come up with some new meta and always have a ton of laughs. They've captured something special here, if you have 4 local players you're going to have a great time.

My only hope is that they expand to a 6 or 8 player version in the future (similar to clusterpuck / unspottable / TMNT)

If you like goofing around with some couch co-op, you need to pick this one up.

If you even remotely enjoy FPS and rhythm games, you have to give this one a try. The different characters and builds will keep things interesting and the visuals while not very impressive are at least cohesive and really give a nice overall feel. One of those games that gets you smiling every time you get a groove going.

For the price it's a no-brainer.

Only through the first 3 hells so far but not enjoying it as much as BPM: Bullets Per Minute. While the visuals are nice the actual rhythm portion feels very one dimensional. Having played BPM earlier in the year it felt like a much much smoother game from the rhythm perspective with the option for eighth notes as well as the extra replayability that comes from being a rogue-like.

A nice art piece and some solid music. But if you're looking specifically from a gameplay/mechanics (and arguably "fun factor) perspective I feel like BPM: Bullets Per Minute is hands down the better pick.

-- Went back and replayed BPM after to make sure I wasn't misremembering. While the better visuals / music go to Metal: Hellslinger, BPM is definitely the better game mechanically with fantastic mechanics and tighter controls.

-- Ended up picking this up again on a heavy discount (just a sucker for metal and rhythm) and finished out the whole thing. I still stand by it being more of an art piece than much of a game. It's pretty easy and the lack of subdivision on the notes keeps it from being that interesting. Robobeat or BPM are still the better games. But the music absolutely rocks. I'd give it a neutral rating if that was an option.

Very basic and limited in scope. Tried single player and co-op, very easy, even on hard. Got stuck on the Mines mission on the last wave, just standing around for minutes with nothing spawning. An interesting idea, but really lost its way in the execution.

Not worth your time, and definitely not worth $13.

Better than I thought it was going to be. I truthfully picked it up just for the co-op and while the co-op controls themselves are a total joke, the concept itself is actually enjoyable. If it had online play so that one person didn't have to play controlling a cursor with a KEYBOARD it'd be magnitudes better. There were also quite a number of bugs throughout but most of them were related to the co-op (money not showing correctly, one player skipping causing both players to skip, stuff like that).

That low prices keeps it a 👍 from me though.

A great take on the casual party style game made popular by titles like overcooked. It's a little rough around the edges with the translations missing in places and the collision going a little wonky at times. And the visuals are probably going to hold this back from really taking off. But on the whole if you're willing to give it a shot it's got great potential.
