Escapism the drive.

starting out the controls seem very clunky but you'll find yourself adapting to them quite quickly.
There is no manual for controls, this is a minor issue since i wouldn't have figured out how to start the car (it's by holding the ignition key down) without the help of this games discord community.

Which brings me to a big plus, the dev is interacting alot with the members, the moderators are very helpful and there's already community modding.

a nifty game with a good future ahead of itself.
Optimalization needs alot of work but is promised by the dev.
You'll find yourself continuously finding small details in certain mechanics or just mechanics in general, this game is more fleshed out then it first appears to be!

overall it's a cheap, promising and relaxing driving game you can sink hours into unknowingly.

This game will feel empty for people who have played the original arma 2 mod and further mods for it.
That however does not make this game boring, as development continues the game drifts further away from it's arma roots and that to me is particulary interesting.

A small and dedicated team works on this game, and are basicly working it from the bottom up.
The character customizability itself doesn't allow players to make their own character and are instead stuck with some presets.
this may chance in the future, who knows.
You will customize it in game by finding clothing and weapons.

Loot is a central element for DayZ and new players might find it challenging to find the good gear. Personally I found it quite unique to be thrown off the deep end, since it's only a multiplayer game you will be dropped in a server with people who have had years of expierence.

This game also has a large roleplay community which i myself also partake in, since it's openworld you can do whatever you want with what the game offers you to build your own story.

All in all I recommend this game for people who want a somewhat realistic survival simulator.

Played the game alot before it was out on steam, I personally do like the game and its concept, it has potential.
For a free shooter with only "pay to progress" it is reccomendable.
