There's a lot wrong with some reviews. A lot of people were expecting some grand game and thought it would be a massive hit. It's not. That's not bad though. The game is what you make out of it and sadly a lot of people need some sort of guide through games. This is a game in which you are meant to just spend some time if you cant decide what to do right now or just need something to do for a bit. But it still has a lot more to give. Collecting all pets, seeing all biomes, playing different characters, experimenting with your own styles, exploring a beautiful game with your friends and beat some 1.5k health collies up together. I can see why a lot of people are disappointed but you guys need to step down your expectations. This was made by two people. Yes the alpha was good in its own way but you couldnt properly explore the world because it took so damn long to explore the first region fully. There were like no objectives in the alpha except beat up some random bosses. There was just no point in exploring far out into the world because it would have taken years to explore every biome.

What i also cant get behind is why people are so pissed about region lock? Like, yea you feel like you've wasted your time but in reality this gives you the option to play for as long as you want. Hell, even after 200 hours you will start out from scratch and be able to continue. Within 2 hours i was able to finish maybe like half a region, meaning that i will still have 2 hours to do stuff or more if i find even cooler stuff. Then i can go into a whole different scenery and get a whole new experience.

So what i want to say is. Dont have high expectations. This game is meant for killing time, not rushing everything. It's like minecraft. Not because it's blocky, but because YOU define how you want to play and interact with the elements and rushing the game is just absolutely boring. You either love it or hate it. And believe me, if you go in without expectations you will most likely love it.

***--- DISCLAIMER---***

English isnt my first language and i learned it through gaming so if there are any mistakes in typing im sorry.

ARK, one of my most loved, but also most hated games of all times.

Why i love it?
IT'S GOT F*CKING DINOS!

No but seriously theres a lot more than that. You, the player, are free to do whatever you want. You want to build a Castle on top of a hill? Build it! You want a beautyful Beach House? Build it! You want a Dodo army? Tame them! Wanna ride on a Rex? Do it! You wa-
I could make the list long enough for you to read as a whole book.
Its a beautyful game, with even better mechanics. EXCEPT FOR THE BUILDING PLS FIX!!!! *coughs* Anyways, my sight for this game has changed a lot since i got it when it was still in the Alpha. I loved the game with all its "bad things" (fps problems n' ♥♥♥♥ like that)

But imma take it a bit easier for you and make a pro/con list and then make a own text beneath it to show you what i got in my 1k hours.

PRO's:

Big vareiety of Maps wich all are really big and hard to explore COMPLETLY
A huge vareiety of Dinosaurs with different abiliteys and looks
A well handled PVP and PVE system
Many different Servers
The option to host a game
MODS

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

CON's:

FPS problems
Everything is still kinda buggy
THE SPACE YOU NEED!!!!111!!! (140 gb at this time of writing)
MODS!!!!
People with no live ruining your pvp experience

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

My opinions + Experiences

So as i first started ark i was honestly hyped. Maybe even more than that since i litterally skipped school for this game. I wanted to play it all the time cause it was just so new, i didnt know anything about the game. "Whats that? Oh ♥♥♥♥ its coming towards me!!! WAIT IS THAT THE FREAKING T-REX!? RUUUUUN!!!" was what i said as i saw my first Rex. Nowadays its like oh a rex... Wich lvl is he? Only 10? Nah im not trying to tame ya boi! *kills the Rex*. But i still like the game. Even though im not playing PVP i have fun. FUN building my ♥♥♥♥ i want. Im currently building on a big ass Castle on an island on Ragnarok. But enough of that, im just hoping that anyone else can have the same experience like i did. It has been well spent 1k hours and i honestly dont know what to say anything else than:"Buy it, its worth it. Belive me".

Well, this game is like Ace of Spades in free mode...

You can build but your blocks are limited, like all items but Weapons (sry for bad english)

Pro's and Con's

Pro:
-The Level system isnt that hard.
-When you get a level up you can unlock Weapons and Items
-The Game has a big arsenal of Weapons and Items
-The Fun factor is big

Con's:
-Its an Pay2Win
-The Graphics are Crap
-Like 80% of players are Pay2Winner

If you are bored and dont know what to do, then the game is cool. When you will really play it Constantly then it could be The RAGE game...

So: Have fun with playing
(ps it has minekraft like textures)

Alright, after about 470 Hours i feel like leaving a review might be a good time to do so.

Short answer: It's a fun game, especially with friends. Why? Well...
Here goes the Long answer:

Warframe is one of these games in which you can just sit back, relax and grind a bit. Be warned though, getting far without actually sweating through takes a lot of time. But, that is in my opinion the best part. I never feel like there is nothing to do. Yes, the lategame is for a lot of players a bit lacking but i guess that's a problem that isnt as easy to fix as some might think. But, let's start at the beginning.

You first get the Opportunity to choose your character. You can decide between a Gravity controlling frame that uses said force to smack her enemies against walls by using the force, a walking battery that emmits schockwaves and thunderbolts and edgy sword boi. I went with the walking battery and think he was really fun to play, though dont worry, you can get every character. And i'm talking about 69 (nice) unique characters to choose from though one frame, Excalibur Prime is a Founders exclusive frame.

After that you're being greeted by a nice tutorial in which you can choose your starter weapons. And if you dont like them, no problem. You've got about 300 Weapons to choose from (including variations)

After that, you can do whatever you want. Go beat up some enemies with your weapons, gather materials, level yourself up and craft some more weapons. As you play you get way better. Also, dont get overwhelmed with modding in the beginning. I learned it after 400 Hours and was doing just okay enough at level 30 missions without facing real threat. Though i had to actually concentrate and so on to get through.

There are also a lot of different Types of missions and "Races" that change the play style a bit as well. The corpus are a highly advanced race and differ greatly their fighting styles towards the Grineer and the Infected.

I can reccomend you to hop in and play until you've reached the beginning of the second dream quest. I wont spoil you with other than the name. The game has a story and it's great to be honest, at least for me. Also, you wont loose anything since it's not "pay to win" because the pvp is basically dead. You can buy everything with real money but i think thats just boring.

Go check the game out. It's free and a lot of fun if you like diverse games. It gives you some Stealth, Hack and Slash, Defensive gameplay and some Grinding.

[Side note: I'm not an english native speaker, in fact i'm just a german boi that learned english through the mighty internet so if there are any mistakes, i'm sorry. I also wrote this at like 11pm so i'm quite tired as well]
