TL;DR: It would be a pretty bad game if it weren't for the workshop. Pick this up on sale.

I like the movement, AI and combat in this game, it's very fluid and I see a lot going for it. This is a good game to play when you're angry or sad (especially if you hop on arena mode.)

Sadly though, to put it bluntly, the story is absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It looks as if it was written by a nine year old child who got hold of Google Docs. It's as dry as a rotten piece of wood. It follows the same formula of making new friends and then those friends betray you. And the ending falls VERY flat lmao.

Although the game is pretty bad, there is one saving grace that made me recommend it...the workshop.

I feel the workshop could help use the base of the game and actually give the game a solid story and some decent level design.

Please someone who is good at making workshop steam stuff, pick this up on a dodgy site like G2A and pay a quid for this ♥♥♥♥ and make something amazing.

I really tried to like this game, I really did, but it was subpar at best, and absolute crap at worst.

This game was definitely inspired by the Telltale games, but the devs didn't really know what made those games great.


The gameplay (especially in the first two episodes) felt like an absolute chore to play. You get a 30 FPS cap and it's very...VERY repetitive. You are literally doing the same thing over and over again: Go to the objective, discover that the objective is locked because somethings broken or some ♥♥♥♥, grab the items that are needed to progress and unlock the objective. Then you get to the next part and then it repeats. That's literally the entire game. There's hardly any change of scenery throughout the game; you are basically hovering around the same areas you already explored and it gets very boring very quickly. Also, you can tell that the game was designed for console controls. The point and click mechanics in this game is more broken than someones hand after they tried to karate chop a brick. The fixed camera angles are piss poor and when it changes and you're spam clicking your character decides to have an aneurysm and do a turn and go the opposite direction you actually want them to go in. There's also quick time events...why did they bother adding these? It's just pressing or mashing E until your keyboard breaks. Puzzles are very mundane and tiring, and they are more of a nuisance if anything. All these problems combined made me actually consider quitting the game midway through episode 3.


The story for this game starts off very uninteresting and boring. It overuses this post-apocalyptic setting and shoves it in your face. All the characters in this game barely develop. The voice acting is absolutely terrible in this game, but gets better after episode 2, it still wasn't that great though. The changes with the characters in the story (like you're playing Donnie then suddenly you're playing Mia) was very jarring to me. Most of the dialogue in eps 1-2 is very cringe and made me want to turn off my speakers and throw them out the window. The game decides to rip off features from the telltale games such as "person will remember that." even though they really won't. In the later half of the game, episodes 4-5 actually decide to build the story out of nowhere. It rushes the literal hell out of the buildup and starts pulling off a bunch of twists. Turning Silas from this innocent man to a crazed serial killer was confusing to me and the whole Randolph has a kid and he's not wanting to kill Mia and all that was weird as well. The ending literally sucks, there's no clear ending at all, it just ends on a cliff hanger and it was very disappointing.



I'd say pass, there's a lot more you could do with your time, such as sticking your head down the toilet for 7 hours and think about your life choices. It's not the worst game I've ever played, but it's very, and I mean VERY far from the best one I've ever played. It's the human embodiment of mediocrity: ♥♥♥♥ gameplay, jarring story arc, absolutely embarrassing voice acting and cringe dialogue choices. Goodnight.
