I won this in a giveaway because I mistakenly thought it was the game Moonlighter.
A few minutes in my first impression is "Wow, this sure is an indy game."
15 minutes of play and yup it's very indy.
I regret claiming it. Wish I could give it back.

Bought the game on sale
Launched the first time.
The title screen looked nice.
Then I tried to make it go full screen and it crashed, changed my PC resolution, and then never launched again.
Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, deleting config files, save files, etc and nothing works. it changes the screen resolution of the desktop then is unresponsive.
I've seen other people have had this issue as well with zero support from devs or publishers.
Buyers beware.
Edit: After a lot of fussing with I learned few things. The game does not like full screen, if you pick full screen it will crash and freeze up with every launch making it unplayable, some file remembers your settings and if full screen was chosen before the crash it's stuck. Running the app/game as administrator was the only way to prevent the game hanging upon launch needing to be closed via task manager. No Borders is the way to go if you want full screen game play.
Doesn't feel good for a game to break just minutes after purchasing it.
So my review will remain negative. Again buyers beware this game hasn't been patched since 2018.
Good luck and happy gaming.

A cool concept of a battle royale game with anime super mechs.
The character and mech designs are appealing and well done.
The game play is fun as well though unbalanced at times
BUT
This is a gacha game/microtransaction focused game. While paying allows you cosmetics and ability to unlock characters and mechs easily it also offers the ability to buy items to level the pilot skills and unlock mech skills much faster than other players.
The BR mode is also riddled with cheaters using aim bots and other means to win matches.
The devs don't seem to try or want to get a handle on cheaters and this ruins the fun immensely.
Like many games in this style making money by pushing cosmetics is king and everything else is on the back burner if they ever get to it.
The US server wait time for Team Death match is atrocious.
The BR mode will be full of bots to make up for the lack of players.
Occasionally they'll have special modes for events but good luck experiencing due to low player base.
Playing it casually was an okay experience it could be so much better but it's a port of a 3D mobile game. Don't expect much from it.

A repetitive slog.
Stiff controls, no sense of advancing towards an end game goal, zero variety.

Magical girls meet Fire Striker for the NES.
Fun, fast-paced, with silly characters and story.
You play as little witches in search of their lost pet.
Each level consist of destroying blocks, monsters and the occasional boss.
You have a set of power ups that can come in handy too.
There is tons of replay value as you have to collect a gem for each stage and capture all the monsters in game with magic cards.
And the game gets even more intense and fun in two player mode.
I highly recommend Strikey Sisters if you like a challenging but fun addictive break out game.

Early Access Review
I got this game for free back in February of 2016.
Back then it was a rudimentary Minecraft clone.
While looking through the games I had hidden in my library I notice the game had changed.
Knights and a medieval town?
Maybe the developer has taken the game in a new direction, maybe they're doing something with Voxelized now.
Nope. Still an unfinished game that's worse than the Minecraft clone.
It's hilarious (but sad) that this is still up and as "early access" when there is no progress in the project at all.
Just basic set up to a game where you can roam around for a bit before you realize there is jack squat to do in it.
I feel sorry for anyone who actually paid real money for either incarnation of this game.
The only pro in this big con is the fact some how this game got steam cards approved and I sold them to buy a real game.

When the developer says this is an homage to 80s PC platformed they're telling the truth.
They've given homage to everything about retro computer games right down to the glaring flaws many of those games were cursed with.
Ultionus: A Tale of Petty Revenge is a beautiful game. Colorful, vibrant, and lively pixel art all around.
The music is delightful and gets your head bopping to the beat.
The humor is sophomoric which I didn't mind because there so little of it.
But the gameplay and the game it's self is lacking.
I get that they're imitating the style of gameplay from that era and that's fine but as I mention they've also copied the annoyances and bad habits of developers of those times. Many of which were either making do with the technology they had or were out right lazy trying to get a quick buck (Hi Ocean Software). Enemies that constantly spawn from all directions, level traps meant to elongate playtime, along with limiting the players maneuverability and attack doesn't make the game a fun challenge as much as a just a pain.
All of that could be excused if it weren't for one issue.
The game has system issues.
Use of any gamepad setting will cause the game to lag to the point where the game is unplayable.
The only work around is using the keyboard setting and/or binding the keyboard to a controller via third party software (Xpadder and such).
To those raised on using the keyboard for gaming this isn't an issue, for those who prefer using a gamepad or joystick it's a bummer.
The game also doesn't run well all the time when booting it will slowdown and in game it will run fine then you hit a room with too many graphical elements going on then it's lag city. I even tried to see if it was my toaster -- I mean laptop but it has the same issue on a computer that should be able to handle a game like this with zero issue.
I can't recommend the game with it's lag issues and lack of controller support until the developers do an update, which I doubt they will.
But if you really really really want this game because you're a retro PC fan or a Phantis super fan then wait until it's on sale.
