The game would be better if every team event involving balls (ie volleyball or sports ball) didnt break the game and lag everyone out. Great game, but that really, REALLY ruins it.

It was way to short! It was good but If it was just 20 minutes longer they couldve hit so many more great points in the game

great game, its a shame those in charge of multiplayer are such money grubbing ass hats. As I type this, rockstar has a big sale going down, the game itself is even 50% off. Yet the only deal on the shark cards is a 10% discount on the $50 card. The game is good, but it is so much more fun with friends.... not so fun when you dont have the money to have fun, though.... as a matter of fact once youve played for a few hours the lack of cash takes most of the fun right out of it and it just becomes a choice of either grind money, or pay real money for a game youve already paid for. Thanks take two, you know just how much we love the shaft, dont you. Next time, at least take us out to dinner before you ♥♥♥♥ us. How about a kiss first, too.

Its a fun game. It lacks what its older versions had in some parts but then gains so much more in other parts. Unfortunetly, it launches through Uplay. That is a shame, really, because Uplay is trash and we all know it, but this game is still fun and I cant hold Uplay against it.

First things first, I dont understand how people can say this game is super comlicated. When you are trying to build, say, an advanced cannon, all you do is do one quick google search and you'll have your first cannon up and running in 20 minutes tops. Then from there you learn how to make it smaller and more compact and just adjust as you go.

Now as for the game itself. It is fun, really fun actually. Unfortunetly there really is no point to it other than clashing against the AI factions or pinning your vehicle against your friends. Also, while I really enjoy the game, it's another one of those that it will probably never leave early access, and if it does it will just be because the devs have gotten bored and decided it was a done as it will get. That being said, what is in the game now is pretty fun, its got a decent bit of content, and it is deffiently NOT as complicated as people make it out to be. If you put in the SLIGHTEST bit of effort you can figure most things out.

Love the game, the recent patch ruined it though. not the first time the devs messed up and they usually fix it, but at this point its pretty ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Also, im sorry but its just not worth $40.... pick it up on sale its a $30 game AT BEST.

Ive had overgrowth for like 6 years now, it is a great fighting time killer. The progress has been slow up until recent but even so it is a pretty solid game. Super pumped that it went to beta finally. I hope they keep it up!

Just hope they stick with and get some real gameplay going when the time comes. Huge, and I mean HUGE potential in this one!


EDIT 4-19-17 Multiplayer has just been added. I just wanted to make a note here that I like that the devs don't beat around the bush. In the update notes they put down exactly what to expect when joining servers in terms of lag and black screens when first connecting, rather than it just being a mystery if your game crashed or not. That for me at least makes me trust them a lot more because they couldve just been like other devs and left it out almost to "hide" it in a way. Liking the progress and the attitude so far!


EDIT 12-5-2020 The game is coming along nicely. Slow, but nicely none the less. The dev is moving towards integrating EMS and Police rather than just focusing on fire mechanics, but thats ok as I think he just wants to see what he can do. It is still pretty buggy, but at this point it is more than playable online as long as you dont mind some finess to get things to work right sometimes. Considering the small, most times one man dev team, I would say its going pretty darn good

Boy oh boy is it awful.

finally purchased since theyve added testing for online multiplayer- played for 10 minutes. Its a little laggy and wanky but my god is it some of the most fun ive ever had. 11/10 would get killed because of my guys tie again.


EDIT 11/17/16 I have to put this edit here because there is one thing i do not like about this game and im sure most people can probably guess what it is- the KO system. I obviously never got to play it back when it was to hard to KO but in its current state it is too EASY to KO people, I still highly recommend this game as it would seem the dev teamhas been putting a lot of time into balancing the KO system and i am sure they will keep working on it until it is right.
