They ruined it. Bodies disappear now, and they have openly stated that they want terrorist hunt gone. The map changes suck too. They only care about the PVP and they dont even really care about that tbh

I don't even need to play this game to tell you that it will be worth a buy if your interested in trucking sims. Thats because the devs of this game and ETS2 are that amazing. They are always adding new content and more important, its very rare that this new content has bugs or breaks the game. On top of that rather than discouraging or even not allowing modding at all, they actually encourage it and have wiki's to help you if your stuck! Just an amazing team creating amazing games. If your concerned with my .1 hours of play time to date, rest assured that i have many hours on the european version of the game, and both are very awesome titles.

I absolutly love this game. Unfortunetly its been updated and bugged to hell so its almost unplayable at this point :/ with no known fixes to boot. I cant reccomend a bugged game no matter how much i love it...



UPDATE 4/16/16 it would seeem there is hope yet! Now that the game is being released on PS4 and what not there was actually an update for the pc to fix a common crash- the first update this game has seen in ages! I'm going to give the dev team the benefit of the doubt here and change from not recommending to saying buy it and hope to god there is more to come!

A nice reminder of how easy it is to get ♥♥♥♥♥♥ over by false promises. A must have for anyone who needs a reminder of why not to spend your money so quickly. 11/10 would lose hopes and dreams again.

So, today I revisited this game. I purchased it a long time ago and it was a lot of fun! It had some issues like the confederates charges being overpowered and artillary just being plain un usable, but it was fun. I revisit it today to see what its like after the last few updates to find a complete cluster ♥♥♥♥ of unreasonable mess all over my screen. I attempted a new campaign, as the confederates, figuring it wouldn't be easy but hey, I've done it before. Ohhhhhhh no. When i finally got so fed up that I mashed the ALt and F4 keys like a hot mama making mashed potaoes for Sunday dinner, i believe my loses were somewhere around 5 to 1. Now mind you, I was being quite aggressive, but when the union an stand thier and litrally take lead to the face and just... just... whats the word... oh yea, absorb it while my numbers litrally fly down by the hundreds every volley? Holy ♥♥♥♥ it was awful. The game tells you to get in close with the confedrates as that is the only way they don't suck, but I Don't think I could get within a few hundred meters without my men spontaneously combusting! My opinion, its broken at this point, not sure if it is side baised or AI ♥♥♥♥♥♥, but 2/10 would not melt away again.

ok, this is absolutly crazy. i get the need for funding, and i get that they probably wanted to preserve the old game and create a new, better game by releasing titans rather than changing this one. But $40? when i already owned this one? OH BUT WAIT! I GET A DISCOUNT! yea well 66% off isnt anything when from what i can see id just be effectivly adding DLC to this game. and the best part? you want to know the absolute best part? People like me who didnt back the kickstarter and who are only getting 66% off have a time limit to claim thier discounted copy of titans! SERIOUSLY?! if i dont purchase by october i have to pay full price?! what a joke, seems like a big *we need money quick* skeem. they can say what they want they werent looking out for thier community or fan base and in my opinion they screwed up royaly. actually, i wasnt even that upset until i say the price of titans and the limitation on when i could redeem my discounted copy. now im enraged with the whole thing.


UPDATE 6-30-16 i was just gifted titans by a good friend of mine and was told that it is now on a discounted price for good for prior PA owners. Not to mention the price has been cut. While the above mentioned still upsets me they have made good progress in redeeming themselves.

Even if it only added a gold suit (it does much, much more) its still worth it to contribute to a wonderful game full of wonderful (sometimes holariously glitchy) experiences

This game is really fun and worth the money dont get me wrong... HOWEVER: i never believe devs when they do things like give an update release date or say a game will have rapid updates to drastically improve a game... but come on oovee, really? been checking EVERY DAY for the cockpit update for over a month, and nothing. Not even an update on how the work is going. Are you even working on it? give us something!!! other than that though its still a really fun game... but a once every few months hotfix doesnt really do justice to what this game could offer. GAME ITSELF:8/10 due to glitches camaras ect GAME DEVELOPMENT:2/10 dont buy yet if your waiting for more to be added and updated, it would seem it will take a while.

EDIT 7-28-15 development is still slower than a snail on the 4th of july... still no cockpit, and still no real news other than oovee meating with the dev... thats litrally the only news since may. Such a great game and idea, along with such an amazing engine, and its all being wasted due to politics. Seems about right in todays world :/





EDIT 9-21-2015 well, looks to me like (and with regret i say this, and it only points half the blame to the creator) what we have here is a completed physics engine, and someone else needs to make a better game based off the engine. Clearly there is some stuff happening in the background that we aren't being told or things just aren't working out with communications. Regardless, looks like we may have to look at other developers to get access to this engine and give us a better, more complete game with more features and all around improved development. Which basically translates to a big game company like EA taking this engine, sh****** on it, and puking out a 60$ hunk of garbage that atleast we can all say got *completed* I had such high hopes for this game, and now they have been completely crushed. Hoorah.




EDIT 11-7-15 Still garbage, no updates worth talking about STILL, and some more crap about how stuff will start coming out in due time. Blah blah blah lie lie lie. Ill beleive it when i see it.



EDIT 4/6/16 "In the next week we expect to receive the update for testing and at that time we will let you know what new features are included" That was posted early March. Still havn't heard anything. I really want this game to work but there seems to be no level of honesty, as they can't even come close to any dates they give and it just seems like they're spinning thier tires... see what i did there?

EDIT 4/14/2017 soon it will be the 1 year anniversary of the last time we heard anything about the development of this game. Come 4/23/2017 I think we can officially dub this game dead and I can finally stop pointlessly editing this review. Yayyyyyy!!!!!!!!!

Amazing, terrifying, and filled with potential. 10/10
