Fun game, very addictive. Does a good job of satirising politics without real world politics or messages being forced down your throat. Highly recommend

Incredibly fun tactical shooter with good devs, community and sharp but small learning curve. Addictive game play and ♥♥♥♥♥ on CoD and Battlefield. Best WW2 shooter I've ever played.

This is a great chill game that you can be creative with and play literally any table top game with it. Really good value, even better if you can get it on sale

CS:GO Review
If you like playing a game where, if you are better than the enemy team you are accused of hacking and if you are worse than the enemy team, you think they are hacking. Then this is the game for you.

Beautiful game with fun combat and gorgeous maps. Multiplayer is a bit quiet but you can find a game easy enough. Customisation is a bit strange and slightly unclear, also hard to unlock what you want. Good game and fun experience especially if you like the lore and the Dark Angels

Nostalgia overload

Edit: new customisation unlocks are awful, one of the big selling points of this game (for me at least) was the aesthetics and the personal customisation of your character.
The old system of earning credits to get armour was a slog, this game tried to fix that and made it worse.

The old system was, you played the game, either campaign, multiplayer, custom games or forge and you got credits for playing. Those credits were basically xp, the more credits you got the faster you ranked up. As you ranked up you unlocked armour and then you could buy that armour with the credits you had accumulated.

Now, instead of unlocking what you want with your own credits that you've earned through playing the game, you gain xp and are forced along a linear path of unlocks which is basically just as much of a slog as the old system except you don't get to choose what you unlock. Also, you cant just play the game, you have to play multiplayer (there is no forge yet) and no matter how well you do, your performance xp is capped at 8k a game. Essentially you could play for half an hour of invasion, get 30 kills and loads of streaks or you could play a 5 min game of griffball, get 12 kills and get the same ammount of performance xp as if you spent half an hour on invasion.

There is a "match completed" xp count, but for the 2 extra 25 mins of game play you get about an extra 2.5k-3k xp bonus. So its not worth it.

Here is a comparison of my experience of the old and new system.

Old:
Play campaign, gain credits(xp) and by the end of it I'm a Warrent officer grade 3 (about 9 ranks into the game) I have enough credits from playing the game to customise my character with multiple helmets, shoulders, chest plates and other accessories. I buy the Operator helmet for 15,000 credits which is about 2 campaign missions worth of credits. I go onto Multiplayer with my customised character to play a 30 min game of invasion. I see how different everyones characters are even though we all have a similar rank. I gain lots of credits for playing a long gamemode and I want to keep playing because the game mode is fun.

New: I play campaign all the way through and am rewarded nothing for it except some achievements. I go online to start getting xp to allow me to customise my character. The first few ranks are easy to get through but then it clearly becomes harder to rank up. I want the Operator helmet but i cant get it till i have reached max rank, some 2 million xp. I am forced to slog through each level, unlocking a piece of armour i don't want with every rank up. My armour looks the exact same as everyone else at my rank because we have all unlocked the exact same stuff. I realise that by playing griffball i can rank up faster, other people have also realised this and it is a 90% chance you end up in a game with someone who has scripted their character to walk in a circle or walk forward hitting their hammer, often killing you as you spawn next to them. I get bored of this and go to play my favourite game mode invasion. I have a really good game and i have fun playing the game mode but I only get 75% of the xp i would get playing griffball and for 4x the play time. I am forced to play griffball over and over again if i want to get any of the armour i want and must make do with the armour i currently have, looking like everyone else at my rank. As an added bonus, i have to manually unlock the next stage of the linear progression with a "season point" that i gained from leveling up, I cant save these season points and i cant buy anything beyond the next stage of unlock so i manually have to go and unlock the armour that i dont want that i dont get a choice in unlocking every time i rank up.

tldr; this game is inferior to the first Halo: Reach in terms of personal customisation, infact it has not personality to it, its just what ever rank you are you will have similar armour to those of the same rank. It is still a great game but it has nothing on the old game.
