Freeze me Papa Louie

I always wanted to play the original System Shock, but outside of the story and setting it felt too old. I decided to skip on the Enhanced Edition as well.

But this remake lets me understand what I was missing out on all this time. You would never expect this to originally be a game made in 1994; but the levels, weapons/items and even dialogue are all the same; just updated for 2023. And damn, it was sure worth playing.

If you're like me and felt that you missed out on the original System Shock, give this remake a try. It's a near perfect game.

From Artyom's home station of Exhibition to the end of Metro Exodus was an amazing ride. Just like the first two games, Exodus has exceeded my expectations.

If you were like me and a bit on the fence regarding this game (especially after the EGS fiasco), do yourself a favour a finally give it a try. I'd consider it a defining game of the decade, unlikely to be topped in story anytime soon.

Fun DLC expansion for Jurassic World Evolution 2. I certainly enjoyed the content in this expansion compared to the previous one, Dominion Biosyn.

Pros:

• Good Campaign that is lengthy if you play it to 5-star completion (10-20 hours). Nearly all of the actors reprise their roles for characters featured during the campaign missions.
  
• New Dinosaurs featured in Jurassic World Dominion.
  
• I really like the exchange and reputation system. It adds a new challenge for the Malta maps and fits the plot of the film and game.

Cons:

• Santaegidius Island is too small, especially considering it is the only map with a natural lagoon. Great if you want to showcase smaller dinosaurs, but ultimately limiting.
  
• The Dinosaur lineup could have been better, but I understand being limited to on-screen dinosaurs.
  
• Campaign was not completable at launch because of a late-game bug caused by placing new dinosaurs. This has since been fixed.

Overall, I think this is certainly worth a buy on sale. And I would recommend this expansion over the Dominion Biosyn DLC if you're planning on purchasing only one.

Fun and addictive. I'll probably be playing Mini Metro for years if not decades due to its simple yet hard to master puzzle design that always has me wanting to play just one more game.

The developers still release periodic updates adding more levels and occasionally features to the game. Steam Workshop support lets you play far more levels made by the dedicated community.

Well worth a purchase if you're a fan of puzzle games, especially on sale.

A game with huge potential that ultimately misses the mark. Still worth a play-through for fans of the original just for the updated parkour gameplay.

A solid 10/10 considering the game first released in 2011.

Great story, great dialogue, fantastic soundtrack, great gameplay and a great DLC (which is included for free in the Director's Cut) that slots neatly into the narrative without feeling tacked on.

A close-to-perfect masterpiece of a game and certainly one of my all-time favourites.

Adored this game on release, and even the mediocre but still charming TV show.

It's something that I came back to every once in a while and had lots of mindless fun with.

Unfortunately, the servers will be closing in April 2021 and it'll be a sad day for myself and my fellow Ark-hunters. The memories though will forever remain.

I'll see you in Paradise another time Ark-hunters.

Just do yourself a favour and play Fallout New Vegas instead

11/10, would get a yee yee ass haircut again.
