Greatest 6/10 of all time.

A few steps forward, a few steps back is the name of the game. While I admire the few things it does better in terms of fixing some bugs, level design, Pawn competence, and the overall graphics, the combat, story, and lifelong value feel like a step back from Dragons' Dogma 1. The old lovely quirks from the last game make a return, and depending on your tolerance to certain quests and the affinity system, you'll feel right at home.

New players may find this great, but returning players may find this game lacking and not the exact improvement everyone was hoping for. Still recommend a go around once, and then wait for the inevitable DLC expansion.
