Early Access Review
It's like that other catching monsters in balls game except when the bad guys show up to steal your legally distinct electric rat you can do the sensible thing and use the power of anime and this gun you lovingly crafted to shoot them.

Don't let the pointy-eared leaf lovers tell you that this game isn't incredible.

Pure and simple genre perfection with an awesome developer who continues to provide free content updates for the game. If you are even thinking about playing this game, just do it already.

A fun, well paced rogue like with amazing visual and sound design. Sit back, relax, and unload against the endless hoards and ever increasing challenge.

I am coming back to this review with another 1,400 hours in this game and an even bigger recommendation. I have leveled all jobs to max level, cleared all but the hardest dungeons, earned my Burger King Mentor Crown, and made dozens of new friends. All this and I *still* haven't done it all. This is a wonderful game with a wonderful community and a dev team that I think might *actually* care about its player base. I am very excited to be starting a new expansion at the same time as the rest of the community for the first time with the release of Endwalker.

**BELIEVE THE HYPE.**

Original Review: I am writing this review as someone who is just NOW considered to not be a new player. After 11 days, 17 hours, and 26 minutes (according to /playtime) I have finally shed the mantle of new player. I leveled a gladiator/paladin to 74, a dancer to 70, a red mage to 56, and a fisher to 55. I have done hundreds of quests, dozens of roulettes, and one or two ill-advised appearance changes.

After all that, what I think speaks the most about this game is that it took me more than 11 full days of playtime to not be considered "new". That should be all you need to know about your value to dollar ratio. Even then: the community is fantastic, the world is fun to explore, the lore is deep, and the combat exciting. I may just be shedding my new player mantle, but I look forward to everything this game has yet to offer. Maybe in another couple hundred hours I'll update this and let you know if it's still good. Either way, I'm confident that I'll still have a couple hundred more hours to play after that.

I boarded a crashed ship to look for a mission item. While exploring, the ship's AI started making monkey sex noises. A hoard of horny monkeys showed up and attacked me while the AI continued to make monkey sex noises in the background. The monkeys were flinging their poop at me.

The story may be terrible but the mechanics are solid and I don't think I could have the same experience with any other franchise.

I do genuinely enjoy this game, but the community is one of the worst in gaming. You might get lucky and find a good regular group or clan that you can work through the more challenging content with at your own pace, but if you're looking for a mostly solo/matchmaking experience I suggest you look elsewhere.

It's a lot of grind, but it's rewarding grind. You can grind to get blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames that you build with materials you grind for in an spaceship that you grind to decorate where you can launch missions and use the weapons and frames you grind for to grind to get more blueprints for weapons and frames and then suddenly it's several hundred hours later and you're still having fun.

Also you can breed your own space cat and give him pats.
