This is a great example of a fantastic Early Access game. There are things that break, things that won't work the way you think they will but it' all amazing. If you like Animal Crossing, My Time at Portia, and Stardew Valley this is a game for you.
After 206 hours I've got all the vehicles, a 2000 plant farm with a whole family of Vombats and Chooks.

10/10 would trap sharks in the museum again, and drive backwards through a boat on a jetski.

Amazing.

After almost 8 years of using this daily, I'll be moving on.

Upsides
1) The advanced tracking settings allows for a lot of fine tuning and the keybinds are a necessity when it comes to making the avatar come to life.
2) Auto blink and auto eye movement as this software struggles hard with eye tracking through glasses.
3) Some great default avatars and some small customizations to make them more personal!

The downsides
1) Not supported anymore, you're on your own kids. (This is a big one)
2) Limited props available
3) Tracking is marginal at best for users with glasses
4) Lack of integration with streaming services/alert providers
5) No longer for sale
6) Holotech moved to a new (different) version due to a struggling business model

The next version of Facerig is Animaze... but personally I will be moving to Vtube Studio with a custom 2D rig. I've tried both extensively, and I'm not a fan of the new software or avatars. Frankly, the uncertainty of what will happen with this version as it ages in addition to the limited functionality in terms of props/engagement features means, I'm going 2D baby!

Fantastic. As someone who has been using a 3D model for 8 years, and only now moving over to 2D this is worlds different and better than what I've been using. The amount of flexibility with props, expressions and tracking options are fantastic. If you have some editing ability and a will to make stuff, props are a breeze and so fun.

Custom 2D rigs can be expensive but the benefit is that it's 100% you and this software brings it to life.

Oh and add mods to make all your dreams and nightmares come true.

I played this a while ago, and while a little buggy I loved it.
HOWEVER
Played it yesterday... and
The latest update is a PS4 port that SUCKS.
I can't invite friends, my xbox controller isn't mapping properly to it.
Good luck figuring it out on a keyboard (no mapping for that either) and some of the buttons when mapped simply do not work.

Until they fix this I would say, stay very very very far away.
