I really want to like this game, but the performance is terrible, I run a RTX 4090 with an AMD 5950X and I have dips from 40 to 50 FPS especially in settlements. Optimize your games, don't use Engines like Unreal if you don't know how to handle them... it frustates me. Every game uses Unreal or Unity and every game comes with the same bag of issues nowdays. At leasts they compile the shaders before the game starts, compared to other titles. Graphics is okayish, but with the bad performance not acceptable imo.

I will change my review when the performance issues have been addressed properly...

The game has a solid foundation and the core gameplay is good. But some elements are a little tedious and the game needs
some QOL changes and more settings.

For example the auto jump can be very annoying at times.

The only bug I encountered was an issue where the radio tower could not be build. This was fixed already however.

As of 06.05.2024: Sony apparently listened to us and removed the psn account linking.

The game is good by the way.

Not sure what to say other than it's not ready... actually far from it. I've waited a few months for the dust to settel. But the devs seem to have given up. Core mechanics are not properly working. The UI/UX is clunky and horrible to use. There is no challange. You have basically unlimited money. Still no mod support. For more details watch some videos about the state of the game. But I still have a sliver of hope. Let's wait a few years.

This is seriously the biggest surprise in the last years. Looks like a meme at first, but is so much better and deeper than so many AAA games released the last years.

It is a mix of Zelda: BOTW, Ark, Pokemon with a lot own unique elements. For example you can use your pals to farm materials. For early access this is also very polished.

My only issues were some clipping problems and a little lag in multiplayer, but nothing big.

This game is really something else. I wish we had more games in that niche. Hopefully Kenshi 2 will be a more polished version of the first. I love the immersion, you truly feel the world exists around you and doesn't give a **** about you. It's just there and you happen to be in it and now you need to survive somehow. So just like real life ;). Once you understand how to survive, there is so much to explore and learn, about the mechanics, about the lore, about its twisted characters and so much more. Its really hard to describe with words. It's an experience. I just wished it was less buggy and that I would need less mods to run it properly :)
Still its a hard recommend by me. There is nothing like it.

Well I had a lot of fun the last two weeks, but not in KSP 2 but in KSP 1 with a bunch of mods.
This game is currently so broken its not even funny and still no patch.
I will give it a try again, as soon as they fix the top 5 game breaking bugs.

The game is really fun, but unfortunately it's really buggy right now. Performance is terrible, the camera feels wonky and you will constantly fall through walls.

Also the monsters run away a lot and there is no way to speed it up, like a mount. At least not yet after about 9 hours.

Such an amazing experience so far. They really put their heart and soul into this.

Yes I had performance stutters while playing, but only when visiting a new area for the first time. Also pretty sure this will be fixed soon.
